I've noticed this as well. Is there any chance you saved your window options on a hero, thus overwriting the default settings?

That's exactly what it is.  My Praetorian characters always have the red villain UI because I saved it as a window option.

Whelp, yup, that's it. When I rename the wdw.txt file the UI colors are correct. Would be nice if they put in a preset for the default hero, villain, and Praetorian colors.

The game engine only supports one default window file (or one default file for any setting group), 21 year old engine and all that. You can save multiple files by using the /wdw_save_file <name> command, and manually load it using /wdw_load_file <name>.

Oh that's good to know, thanks.
