A few small questions for my spines/bio

Like it says in the subject line.  I'm rediscovering old characters, I haven't touched this guy in about 3 years (he's about 39).

 

1) Which Adaptation do folks tend toward?  I've been finding myself using Efficient, and every now and then going Defensive.  I don't like the -Def hit you take from Offensive,

 

2) The general rhythm I've got is, Ablative Carapace going in, then the um, the Stygian Circle knockoff after I've been in a bit, and Parasitic Aura as an "Oh crap" option.  Is that how folks generally roll with the set?

Once 50 offensive 99% of the time. Leveling up efficient is good though 

 

if teaming usually don’t need any of them. But yeah using carapace before you need it is ideal. Other two as needed. 
 

I almost ditched mine a lot leveling up cause of end issues and being fairly squishy. But it’s one of my favorites now and have a lot of scrappers.   It’s a fun combo.

When I made my Bio/Savage Tanker, I made sure to slot Resistance and Defense in Offensive mode. I've only had to come out of it if I am fighting multiple mobs of things not Smashing/Lethal.

My Elec/Bio sentinel runs in Offensive all the time. My Axe/Bio brute has endurance issues I have yet to address (no Incarnates yet) and usually runs in Efficient mode. 

 

I keep Ablative Carapace on auto on both of them. Even without Hasten I've only got about 6-8s of down time.
