Communistpenguin Posted Saturday at 11:59 PM Posted Saturday at 11:59 PM Make a base item that functions similarly to the pillar of ice and flame, but for current level missions. Particularly any new content the devs have created.
Rudra Posted Sunday at 12:08 AM Posted Sunday at 12:08 AM Isn't that what the Find Contact button is for? 1
Communistpenguin Posted Sunday at 12:37 AM Author Posted Sunday at 12:37 AM Last time i checked, it didn't work all that well.
Rudra Posted Sunday at 12:50 AM Posted Sunday at 12:50 AM Always worked fine for me. The only contacts I never saw come up were ones that needed to be unlocked. If it isn't working though, report what it is doing wrong so it can be fixed. 1
Forager Posted Tuesday at 08:19 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:19 PM (edited) What about removing the minimum level restriction for the pillar of ice and flame... and adding a mission computer skin for it? Would that cover it? Edited Tuesday at 08:19 PM by Forager
Communistpenguin Posted Tuesday at 09:35 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 09:35 PM The problem with the pillar, is that it locks you into TF mode, so you cant join other teams until you finish. Im more interested in getting the full variety of contacts and missions as you play, So for example, the first Who Will Die mission is level 10-20. How would an average player even know it exists? Or all the new content the new devs have created, it is not really introduced to players. In theory the Find COntact button should take care of this, but it doesn't really introduce you to a whole lot.

(Edit: They also have their contacts clearly marked on the maps.) Edited Tuesday at 11:06 PM by Rudra
Communistpenguin Posted Tuesday at 11:29 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 11:29 PM Pretty sure most players don't really know about them, but that is besides the point. I could also have used the devs Vhaz arcs they added a few issues ago. My point is there is content that most players are unaware of, and the game does a poor job introducing to them. Why not add something that lets us see what the content is and select it?

lemming Posted yesterday at 12:15 AM Posted yesterday at 12:15 AM Not to say there shouldn't be a better listing of content, but adding another item that people are just as likely not to use isn't going to work. Currently, FInd Contact works fairly well for your level range. Assuming that any other unlocks have already been done. Hence why you may not get Doc Buzzsaw. I've done a few "Do EVERYTHING" characters and find contact works fairly well in addition to doing newspaper/radio missions. The Oro Crystal does list everything and shows what you've at least started. Though once again, if you haven't unlocked a contact, it won't list it. The LFG tab shows a lot of other content that you are eligible for. Including the SSAs. I think there's room for something, but right now I'm thinking of a flowchart rather than an item. 1
