TimesSeven Posted June 19 Posted June 19 First off, love the changes to KW. Very cool. Thanks for the update. The Phantasm in the Illusion set will fight for a while and, if the player is standing away from the action, will turn and fly toward them and will no longer fight -- not even if they are standing directly in front of an enemy. They will not engage again unless they are dismissed and respawned or if the enemy attacks the player directly. Other than that, they will just float next to you and do nothing. Thanks for the volunteer work on the game. Y'all rock!
Hedgefund Posted June 19 Posted June 19 I think controllers are going to have to get used to pets needing to be put in aggressive mode or given direct orders to attack a target. Looking at your pet menu Phantasm is in defensive/follow mode (default) so won't attack unless attacked or ordered to do so. 2

Never had to worry about the Phantasm before, so I guess this is a new thing. At least (I hope), I'll have the "Attack my Target" option that MM's have. Didn't have that option with any of the Ill pets and was bad fighting an AV surrounded by henchmen. Thanks for the assist.

And I noticed earlier today that Dominators don't get the pet controls that Controllers do, and it feels as if they summon in 'Defensive Follow' mode as well -- the Gremlins for my Elec/Elec Dominator were just standing around while I was attacking the P.E.A.C.E. Keeper in KW, but when I entered "/petcomall agg" in chat, they started attacking.

Went to Atlas Park and summoned them by some Hellions, and they immediately attacked the Hellions. Went to Talos Island to see if zoning changes their state, and they immediately attacked a group of Warriors I went near. Edited June 19 by Rudra Edited to capitlaize the p in "Park".

It was a real pain for mob surrounded AVs. Kinda glad that I have a bit more control, but now I have to get into the habit of using "Attack my Target" and "Aggressive" mode again. Been forever since I rolled an MM
Hedgefund2 Posted June 20 Posted June 20 The pet commands only apply to various T9s, PA is not commandable (if that's a word), their behavior is unchanged and they'll attack whatever they see.
