Seeding the AH with common recipes.

The Devs, in their infinite wisdom and awesomeness, recently (ish) seeded the AH with salvage. This was totally awesome, and meant finding stuff like Masterwork Weapons for under 50k wasn't an issue!

Recently I have been getting into enhancement converting, in order to get sets like Oblits, LoTG 'normals' and other recipes. Not everyone knows (at least from my experience with friends) about converting, and even less seem to realise just HOW powerful it is, to take a crappy set, and turn it into a great one, with some converters.

On the other hand..quite a lot of people do. Hence seeing things like Red Fortune (a 2nd tier, but still great Def set) going for 1-2 mil, because people are morphing em into LoTGs. Same with Multistrikes into Oblits.

My suggestion is to Seed some of the 2nd tier recipes on the AH, to help with inflation 'conversion desirable' recipes. And yes, 2 mil isnt much. But it is all relative. To someone who farms, that is nothing. Same to someone who plays the market.

Even making another Class of recipes available at the AH, like toon-bound or Un-convertable ones (so those people who were getting them simply to convert, wont want them).

This is a lot less necessary than the salvage, though - you can buy the common, basic IO recipes right through the crafting table UI.

 

Not so much with the Salvage, though.

Merits for the recipes, Architect for the salvage, was my formula up to i23.  Merit costs for recipes have been reduced from what I remember as well.  Seeding the AH with salvage was a necessity because apparently Architect was straining the servers.  Merits work better than they ever did.

If you're into enhancement converting, you should have all the inf you need. 1-2 million is nothing when you make 500k a flip. Better yet, just buy the good sets for 2-4 million.

 

Everything is SO cheap now, and will only go lower as more people get into converting.
