Tech help - characters can't log in

Coming back after a long time away, and I have several characters on several servers that can't log in.

 

Most of them are in Khalisti Wharf. When I try to log them in the game resets to the login screen. However, the 'last logged in' on the character goes get updated to the current day.

 

I have one character in KW I was albe to log into, but they were inside an instanced building there. I have one outside KW that can't log in.

 

I presume this is because the area has changed substantially since the character was disconnected there. Is there any way to default them back to Atlas Park or somewhere, without being able to log them in?

absolutely not a techie but perhaps you could do a server transfer on one to see if that gets you located to a newer version of the old location?

Hm, that's an idea. I could try to move one then move it back if it logs in right. Lemme try!

Edit wait this needs transfer tokens. I'll try it with one.

File a support ticket and a GM can move your characters to a valid location. Or otherwise figure out what's up with them and get it sorted.

Nope, didn't work. Festivus Pole is now stuck in limbo on Indomitable instead of Torchbearer.
