Any Tips For Stacking Stairs?

Hello,

I am having some difficulty in trying to stack stair pieces to make a long staircase. It this case, I am trying to stack two tech stairs side by side with two additional tech stairs attached to create a staircase that attaches to a tech balcony. But I don't seem to be having much luck having tried this many times. I am aware of using the F5 key to allow the items to be stacked on a surface, but that does not seem to help.

 

Any tips or ideas would be appreciated.

Attach them all to the floor, then hold down the shift key to move your upper stairs up.  Hold down ctrl to move them around at their new elevation.

F5 is a great tool for many things, but sometimes ya just gotta go "old school";  shift for vertical movement, ctrl for horizontal movement on a plane.
