Forager Posted July 5 Posted July 5 (edited) I need your help with this! This is a complete redesign of the best gang in the game! I have a long running series of AE arcs that has had extensive testing up to level 25, but I need these guys playtested from 25-40. I have created a short 3 mission arc designed to test them. The story is straightforward and there are no strange mechanics or hard to win fights until the last one. I've also included a bonus mission to fight some of the higher level Skulls I have designed including The Bone Mommy. I would love any and all feedback, even negative feedback. I really want to know how they play for you, in particular how the mezzes fall. There are a few enemy combinations that can get you, but I tried to spread it out enough that they wouldn't stack too much on you at once. I wanted the fights to feel frantic, but not frustrating. Forager Posted July 5 Author Posted July 5 The core Skulls, the Gravediggers, are still present and make up the bulk of the gang. I updated the costumes, but kept them white and grey. I want them to have some personality but still give the idea that they are mooks, so I tried to be sparing with the details. Here is a sample of them. Forager Posted July 5 Author Posted July 5 I wanted the Skulls to have different factions like some of the other enemy groups, and created the Bloodsuckers. For them The Skulls are an aesthetic as much as they are a gang, and they use their membership as an excuse for a violent, drug fueled lifestyle. They're party kids and rich junkies that buck the traditions of the Skulls. They wear synthetic masks instead of real skulls and use a new designer drug called Sanguidine, which is made by cutting Superadine with The Blood of the Mu. Triumphant Posted July 5 Posted July 5 Those all seem like cool variations. Keeps the overall theme, but offers little aesthetic and conceptual 'tweaks', here and there, to give them more variety. 👍

My goal is for these Skulls to escape AE. I believe that these are the real Skulls.
