When did char start knocking things down?

I was leveling my fire/kin from 4-6 and notice his char was doing KD most of the time. This is very new.

 

I tested it on my fire/storm and found it happening there too. Normally I hit things with fire cages or ROF which seems to suppress it.

 

Was this an intentional change? Not that it matters since char holds the target doesnt matter if they sometimes KD at the beginning of the hold.

As I understand it, on Live, they started changing the "Knockback Protection" inherent to mose Holds and Immobilises to "convert Knockback to Knockdown" a la the IO that can do it, pretty much across the board for the whole game.

I'm only guessing here, but given the low levels, perhaps you slotted the Prestige Enhancement that gives a chance to Knockdown in it? :p

Total aside: my Masterminds LOVE that PrENH.  The Tier 1 minions get it, ALWAYS.  SUCH a handy bit of soft control.  And I _think_ each pet gets their own PPM rate, so three pets means thrice the KD ...
