Hedgefund Posted September 6 Posted September 6 While doing some converter roulette I stumbled up Commanding Presence's Taunt/Placate resist piece. While checking its price I was more than a little surprised to see the activity: Not a lot of activity by any means (5 sales [that I could see] in 6 days) but I'd expect that number to be 0. Who among you is willing to raise their hand and say "I slot this" and if I may ask, why? What are you encountering that makes this useful? I seem to encounter taunt more than placate but frankly I tend to prioritize taunters anyway and even then not so frequently that I feel a need to resist the taunt duration.
bellona100 Posted September 6 Posted September 6 Power 'Commanding Presence: Taunt/Placate Resist' (Boosts.Attuned_Commanding_Presence_E.Attuned_Commanding_Presence_E) This enhancement seems to act like Edict of the Master: Defense Bonus & Sovereign Right: Resistance Bonus. In other words, Commanding Presence has the same game mechanics. As long as your henchmen/pets are rather close to the actual MM, they receive the resist of 10%. Keep in mind that the power Assault provides a Taunt & Placate resist of 45.41% to all that are within range. Back to your questions on why players are buying it. I have no idea. I can speculate, but that does no one any good. Furthermore, I can tell you that no one Min/Max'ing their build would ever slot this thing - but you already know that.

I don't slot it but if you spend a lot of time converting enhances low level ones like this that can be snapped up cheap and converted out of set to useful stuff like steadfasts/miracles/achilles etc. and sold on for 2-4 times what it cost. I'm guessing....as i've never seen a build that had it slotted.
