Taxon Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago The 'Craft Lost Cure' mission gives you The Lost Cure temp power, which is then required to beat the following mission. If you somehow manage to lose The Lost Cure power after beating 'Craft Lost Cure', then you'll have no way of replaying that mission to get the power back and the arc will become unbeatable. The finale mission also lacks the usual option to autocomplete. As for how I actually managed to muck this up... I was having trouble finding lost spawns so after several minutes I went to the mission architect, made a map with lost enemies, tested it, and used the cure on them. The mission pinged complete but upon leaving the architect I was still sitting at 0 out of 20 lost cured, and the temp power to cure them was gone. There's a moral in there about being impatient I'm sure, but the result is that this character can't access the midnight club content and their clues menu is filled with (pretty lengthy) clues from the Castanella arc that never went away, making that menu a pain to navigate.
Captain Fabulous Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Can you drop the mission and pick it up again?
lemming Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago See if you can get someone else to run the mission and be teamed with them. I find the best place for Lost is North Perez, especially since the Steel Canyon exit is right there for going to the MC.

And I'm sorry to say, that should have been a given. (You also should have checked to see if your count had changed after using the wand on your first Lost in the mission if you were trying to complete the mission that way.) You can contact a GM and have the GM clear that mission for you. You can also see if you can access the mission through Ouroboros to get the wand back or see if you can get a new wand by running through the arc with someone else as someone else said. You can also try running the arc with someone else and see if you can choose to complete the mission as part of clearing that person's mission. Edit: Also, I either go to Perez Park or King's Row for Lost for that mission. Usually King's Row. There are ample Lost to complete that mission behind (north of) the hospital as well as along the road leading under the two overpasses heading north. If in doubt about how to accomplish a mission, ask in the Help channel. Edited 19 hours ago by Rudra

I can, but the temp power comes from the mission just before the one I'm currently on, so it wouldn't help. 1 hour ago, Rudra said: Nothing in AE counts for anything other than AE. Ironically, I think the fact that AE did count towards the mission is what caused the problem. It took multiple AE runs to reach 20 so I checked the count between each run, and it actually was contributing to the quest. It's only when I completed the quest within AE that things got buggy and the count reset. If I'd gotten 19 down then did the last one outside of AE I think it actually would've worked out fine. It shouldn't, but that being the case, it makes sense to me then how you wound up in your predicament. That said, never use AE to try and complete a street hunt mission from a non-AE contact. Basically, just think of AE as a completely different game you can access from within the game. Something that can be fun to do on the side, or to just be doing something other than the regular content, but completely detached from the rest of the game. That is the safest approach to dealing with AE and the rest of the game. If you are having problems finding specific mobs for a mission, ask in the Help channel and someone can point you to an area that can consistently give you your needed targets. Did you get the Midnighter Badge from Night Ward (It's right inside the door of the big house in the middle of the zone)? That should at least allow you to access the club. I think it opens up the Midnighter contacts too.

I figured I’d have to Gull into a villain and do Ashley’s arc for the badge but this sounds way quicker. TY for advice, all. Will still need to finish the mission to purge those clues at some point but at least the char isn’t getting locked out of content til then.
