DeathMcKillenstein Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I didn't see anything in the patch notes about it, and I really hope it's a bug and not intentional...apparently it's no longer possible to combine lower-tier incarnate salvage into higher-tier. Rare is missing from the Incarnate Shards menu, and both Rare AND Very Rare are missing from the Incarnate Threads menu. If lower-tier salvage can't be combined and have to either drop or be created using Empyrean merits, it's going to be a LOT harder to craft even tier 3s, let alone tier 4s.
Rudra Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago (edited) I was unaware we could ever combine lower tier incarnate salvage into higher tier incarnate salvage. I was only aware of the ability to downgrade higher tier incarnate salvage to lower tier. Can anyone other than the author verify this for me please? Edit: Also, I don't remember being able to buy rare or very rare incarnate salvage with threads. I swear they could only be bought with merits. Can anyone other than the author verify that for me too please? Edited 8 hours ago by Rudra
Arbegla Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago It was an inf sink.. basically you could always combine up, but you needed all 4 common pieces to equal one uncommon, and 4 uncommon pieces to equal 1 rare and a few million inf if I remember correctly (maybe 5 mil for common->uncommon and 25 mil for uncommon->rare?) This functionality has moved to Prometheus in the O-zone, but its undocumented in the patch notes.
lemming Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago It was ridiculously expensive. I remember looking at it when the change was in beta. I'd rather do 20 heather arcs.
