I don't see a set I can put in any of my attacks to get a -res proc am I missing something? None of the attacks innately do -def etc they are all disorient/knockback

The optimal attack chain on War Mace if you have sufficient recharge is Clobber, Shatter, Jawbreaker. As Stara says, put the Fury of the Gladiator -res proc in Shatter for this chain.

It's a damage set, should be there in any of the last few patches of Pines.
