Lore Slots don't "mesh" right

So, with incarnate slots, they're mostly universal. Every character concept has an enhancement for each slot that meshes well with their character fantasy... except one: the Lore slot.

 

Now, it's just... a kinda weird one. Summoning pets? Doesn't really fit in with every character fantasy. Would Hulk use a Lore slot?

 

I just think there should be a "separate" slot that you can take instead of a Lore one. Something like the Destiny slot, but it only affects you, and is equal in power to a Lore power.

It would be really hard to balance, since the lore pet benefits from your alpha and group buffs, is subject to being targeted and killed, can target independently of you if wanted, and is an absolute DPS increase unrivaled by anything else in the game.

 

I'm not crazy about the lore pet either but I find it hard to envision a scenario that doesn't end up with either the lore pet or the replacement being far stronger than the other for most situations.

Yes.  He would.  Planet Hulk ... and World War Hulk.  Hulk was once king of the entire planet Sakaar ...

Will also point out the drones are a surprisingly good choice for low visibility pets.
