Well they are still down 10 hours later. Is there a reason they are down? I mean it's been almost a week.

The DPS TOOL is session based. If the timer is running regardless of being in mission or not, the data is collected from the combat log and stored for later observance. The tool places all information into categories buffs included which ultimately effects the entire session. So yes, some times I am not running a test and I don't worry about buffs. But having the option to disable ALL buffs would be a great addition to the game. As far as I know only 3 people currently use this tool for combat calculations. When I run a defender or any toon that can buff? I do not buff outside of teams. There is an outside chance that someone may be doing what I am doing (Crunching numbers etc) so I just don't, its more respectful this way. Lates.

Do you think I am only referring to grp fly? Yes the duck can make it so that grp fly doesn't effect me. Can I say duh? I've mentioned before that while using my "DPS TOOL" (which people seem to ignore) my numbers get all wonky after I get hit with defensive and or resist buffs and even dmg increase buffs sb etc. So being able to avoid said buffs ALL OF THEM, helps me to farm and do my missions, as I figure out the best build possible with my dps tool. Those numbers help me figure out the best possible build configuration for my toon. So OF COURSE I don't want to be buffed. ACCURACY of these numbers is essential. TY.

I have to use my buddies base to lvl up because every time I stop at MS liberty or some other, I get inundated with buffs. Name the buff and i get hit with it lol. Its stupid bad lol.

Look. I get your point. I'll be the better and not resort to any more acknowledgements to the lack of intelligence in some folks. Happy? But in game, could you ask our fellows to have a bit more SELF CONTROL? I've said before, it seems like a really big ask. Another point is that when I use the term "DPS TOOL" folks on this forum pass it right on by as if I have no REAL reason for such a request for this in game option. So hence, my frustration of those who make fun of myself. My fee fees aren't hurt or anything. Its just those who do that kind of thing I believe, are a bit the gormless for being so immature. But again, I will try and refrain from calling the deserving out ok? Good day.

Which alt? I have like a 100. Some folks seem to miss the part about "MY DPS TOOL". While crunching numbers ALL buffs fuck up the tools number rotation. So to have a fellow player realize I am only asking not to be buffed because I don't wish my numbers to be screwed up. So having the option to opt in and or out of non teaming buffs is a no brainer. Teams as in normal 8 man teams. Folks on here feel the need to nick pick lol.

I was hoping for a Player Buff change. If enabled, it will be impossible to buff a player that's not on your team. Do you see the word ENABLED? Meaning it can be disabled. By the player in both cases. I didnt think I had to explain something so simple. I guess I was wrong. lol

They have been down for almost a week. Just wondered what the deal is.

If I am running to a mish and I am using my DPS tool and someone runs up and hits me with bubbles or sb or a huge number of other buffs then I would like this buff to ignored automatically. One would expect to be buffed on a team and or baf etc. To stand in an area where multiple buffing is going on say near some event, mish entrance etc. Then my request would obviously be unreasonable. But folks can resist the urge to buff just anyone. It is possible. To just say fuck it and tuff shit ill buff whomever I please, is a lean towards the abuse side of things yes? So for me to be able to disable random buffs isn't a big ask. One of my close frens that I team with used to write code for this game and he said it wouldn't be hard to implement. So by the click of a button, any buffs out side an 8 man regular team would have no effect on my toon. Where's the harm in that? I ask people all the time to not buff my toon so I can crunch numbers but (sigh) they do it anyway. Then laugh and wonder why I'm pissed. So Players could have better self control too right? LOL Yeah that's a stretch. Ohh for you emotionally messed up folks, yes I ask politely. AOE buffs can easily be avoided by me because I usually see them coming and can hide. No shit seriously I hide. Fuckers cant control themselves so I beat it. Anyway my point has been made even if some of you are to stupid to realize it. Ty.

While using my dps tool and making various build calculations. UNWANTED buffs fudge up those numbers. Some times I have to start over. Kind of sucks. I did mention that folks would have the OPTION to tun off all buffs from other players while not on a team. Its not a tall ask really. It seems to be harder to get other players to just simply control themselves. Has anyone bothered to ask themselves why that is? I have to actually hide in base to lvl my toon because of your nut job buff whore running around. Yes yes folks can right click and dismiss them but that isn't a problem I should be FORCED to deal with. The problem lies with my fellow players lack of respect for the wishes of those trying to crunch numbers. STOP BUFFING MY TOON. I know I know its a BIG FREAKING ASK. Self control being what it is and all. So if I were able to just disable all player buffs, problem solved for everyone. Even you emotionally fucked up folks who just cant stop can benefit. SEE ya.

Its been a few days now and no mention as to why the beta servers are down or when they will be back up? Thoughts?

Just give us the ability to disable ALL buffs from other players while not on their team. PLEASE!!!
