Here is my take on it. Someone helped me with this a while back (can probably find the thread). Very sturdy. You want to get all the +psi resistance uniques slotted, and build for that since it is a major hole. I went with energy mastery and physical perfection and still needed cardiac. Probably should look to fill the no heal issue by going Rebirth as your destiny. I am not capped at S/L resistance, but my other resistances are higher across the board. I appreciate it @wRECk69. I mainly wanted to see what epic he had used and check some of the slotting. I have an ice/cold/mace i was respecing to Ice Mastery to get Hoarfrost. I ended up basically increasing defenses (was already soft capped to S/L and Ranged) and resistances across the board, maintained my existing recharge, added a heal, and kept my proc'd out attack chain. I feel like it is final form. ah, i did not know this. Thanks for the info. I have a fire/dark/dark at 50 with full sets, but no incarnates yet. I just came back to the game a few weeks ago and haven't played this toon but from what i remember he was very endurance hungry and I was going to have to go cardiac most likely to help with end issues. I will let Uun in weigh on if dark or soul is better at this point since i haven't played with the set since the changes.

You may be better off going dark mastery instead of soul. the version of soul drain you get has a much shorter cool down and can basically be perma.

I have a fire/dark I had planned to respec to this build but never got around to it. Maybe worth giving it a shot. In the other thread asking about water vs storm people are going crazy with the water jet slander. Saying to skip it, it isn't good, it's disappointing, etc. it's the best single target damage in the set and has an insta recast feature. If you don't take it your single target damage is severely gimped. To each their own, I guess. 🤷‍♂️

My mids wont let me increase the level of my IOs using the shift + or whatever the shortcut is. I have to set them all to +5 with the drop down menu haha. I don't have them all like that in game, just hasten and the end reduction in against all odds. This is a fair point. I got those last two purple sets and have been playing the toon and he definitely performs better with those sets. I really underestimated those set bonuses and procs. that said, any feedback on incarnates would be welcome. I currently have a t3 cardiac but not sure if that is the best route.

This is good feedback. I updated the build to match what you said, and added two pieces of blessing of the zypher to super speed at level 50 to give more ranged defense. I was teamed with a marine defender the other day and they said their shifting tides was doing almost 100 damage a tick 6 slotted for damage. I am not sure if anyone has played with this, but that seems like it may be worth re-arranging slots to get that damage cranked up on a toggle power.

I made my first tanker ever and i went with shield/fire. I have him nearly IO'd out - i am still missing the Armageddon set in combustion. I searched the forums pretty heavily and could not find a build for this combo (i am sure one exists but i couldnt find it). I have been running +4/x8 content and still struggle. I feel like i lack damage. I can fight for a while but then i start taking hits eventually and just get worn down over time. From what i have read, i should be able to handle this content pretty easily. Looking for feedback on this build and what could be changed to make it better. Hi everyone, I just completed my first tanker and have him mostly IO'd out (i am missing two purple sets). He is a shiled/fire tank and i am looking for some feedback. I understand that i should be able to pretty easily do +4/x8 content, but i seem to struggle a bit. Here is the build. I do not have any incarnate slots built yet. The two sets i am missing are the set in combustion and shield charge. I feel like i probably need more procs in but then i am giving up good set bonuses. Any feedback would be appreciated. Primaries, I would say ice, fire, and water are all very good damage sets. Secondaries of course there is kin for very high damage buffs. More debuff focused sets I would say cold, rad and dark (I am a bit biased, I have 3 lvl 50 /cold corrs). Honestly, pretty much anything is serviceable. Play around with some sets and find something fun.
