there may very well be a topic or more about this already but the forum search function is just the worst. They did such a good job letting us put weapons on our hips and backs, why not shields? I mean... I don't know why it didn't even occur to me until tonight. Doesn't it seem like that's almost mandatory for a shield slinger?

You're own sig answers your question But anyways, there's a difference between criticism/feedback and complaining. And I don't really see it as "defending". Do they need defending? I don't think so. You're basically saying why does anybody post anything at all here. I'm expressing my opinion, which is my right as much as yours. And my opinion is eternal gratitude for those who gave me back my home.

One thing I would love, is after logging out in my base, when I log back in, I'm still in my base. This would add to the immersive element of it being my "home". As opposed to waking up on my doorstep every time I log in.

I've been playing with the latest release on test and I gotta say, it's put new life into the game for me. I've been playing this game since the original launch so my desire to play comes and goes. I always come back. This update has given me the ONE thing I've hoped for in vain since Cimerora came out.

I mean, I'll try it to see how it looks, but I was not a fan, previously.

I don't know why I'm always surprised at how people complain about something that was dead and is now provided completely free of charge. Even if not one thing was changed since NCSoft shut it down, just the fact this game still exists is amazing.

What's so great about cell shading? I always thought Champions Online was ugly.

To each their own. Not invalidating your feelings but I absolutely disagree. For me it's the same game that I have loved since i2. Sure things have changed. Games die if they don't change. But the heart and spirit of this game is just the same as the first time I logged in and made a Hero... before you could even make a Villain. No other game feeds my superhero craving the way this does. Not DCUO, Not Champions Online and surely not the cookie cutter games on mobile devices. And other CoH private servers just don't do it for me, either. Either they lack the costume options or the powers i want or they're run by people so shady I feel like I need a shower after visiting their server.

I've been to several bases with the same very large pirate ship. I can't seem to find it in the base builder. Anybody know?

Cimerora. Most of my characters have an "ancient" theme, Greek, Roman or Egyptian. There's plenty of space with no bad guys and it's just so damned pretty there. And commuting to Paragon is no problem.

All the zippy share links are expired or the file no longer exists. Can anybody re-up these somewhere?
