  1. I jetpack around too, especially at Hami raids. And I tend to leap around a bit and cast too.
  2. This is the build I am working with right now. Perma-hasten, soft-capped s/l defense. Good healing and recovery. I skipped Stalagmite & Fracture as I don't like being forced to be on the ground to make an attack; I took Mighty for the Judgement as an exception to this though &thematic reasons for the character). I also did not take Tremors or Salt Crystals, as the "DEFEATED" condition > asleep or knocked down. The Launch:+Jump IO in CJ was a test for the IO's usefulness. It is a noticeable improvement, but entirely optional if you want another slot elsewhere. I have more attacks that necessary, but as a blaster I like the flexibility of having a set of ranged attacks, a set of powerful melee when needed, and an AOE option too. Some folks don't like Meteor's insane knockaround; I like it... so I did not slot a Sudden Acceleration: KB->KD IO. YMMV.
  3. OK, so I learned that you actually have to not be at full health in order for the power to heal you/report healing numbers. I was assuming it would constantly report/post green numbers spam like Power Transfer/Panacea procs.
  4. Nevermind #1 above. You have to have taken damage (i.e. not be at 10)% health) for the power to heal/report healing. I was thinking the power would heal/report healing like Panacea or Power Transfer procs do.
  5. Indeed. But the power description lists it as a HoT. And there is no regen listed in the details listing for regen rate. And I definitely don't see any grey absorb points in my health bar.
  6. I have mine slotted with a Power Transfer: Chance to Heal. I see that proc's numbers hit. I also have a Panacea proc in my Health, and see that one hit on the Healing Received tab. Nothing above the head or on the Healing Received. I'm wondering if the proc is overriding the HoT, if you are seeing the HoT over your head? @Amaterasu, are you able to see if your Healing Received tab notes the healing? Thanks much.
  7. When toggled on, Combat channel lists toggling back on Beryl Crystals as "Mineral Armor" and states that it now "deflects psionic attacks and grants resistance to confusion and stealth." The power just increases accuracy, provides +perception & to-hit debuff resist, and grants confuse protection.
  8. 1. The power says it is a heal over time, but no healing is reported to my "Healing Received" ledger. It is not +Regen, as it does not report under Combat Attributes. No "green numbers" pop over the character's head either. I tested the power standing alone and saturated with mobs. No change in reporting any healing delivered. 2. The power does not accept Accuracy. Is that by design? As a test I slotted a D-sync siphon (Heal/Acc) to see if it would affect the listed 1.0x accuracy. No change. Is the power auto-hit or just simply purposefully not able to be modified that way? Thanks!
  9. 1. I never see any green numbers above my character's head nor any healing received in the text, showing Mud Bath is doing a HoT. It is not +regen, since that should show up in Combat Attributes. Does it work and how do I know how well it is doing at keeping me vertical when playing? 2. The power does not accept Accuracy enhancements. Does it always hit? The power description lists it at 1.0x accuracy. I slotted 2 D-sync Acc/Heal in mine, so I am a little concerned. Perhaps the Dev team/Powers division can help? Thanks for your time and replies.
  10. I would like to propose "Broke the Mold" as a reward for "pushing back"/defeating Hamidon, some amount of times. Once, ten times (like U'kon Gr'ai?), more? "Mold" since it is sometimes described as Jello (tm) (i.e. Jello mold) and "Broke the mold" is a great expression to state that a person is one-of-a-kind. I got some LOLs at a recent Hami raid when I suggested it in league chat. Not sure about the blue/green/yellow mitos, but there are plenty of expressions with those colors in them that might be badge-worthy. Also unsure about a combined badge for defeating all mito types & doing participating in defeating the nucleus. Since defeating Hami in the LGTF gives you super-duper Hami-infused power, perhaps an accolade click that duplicates an EoE/Ambrosia would be in order too for such an accolade.   11. I was thinking of trying Ninjas, and Genin can accept this set/proc. Would that give each Genin a chance to do KB/KD with each of their attacks? On paper and in practice. Thanks for your replies!
  12. For at least three weeks now, even after server restart Tuesdays, Prison Break (Brickstown event) is still stuck at 12/20 Prisoners.
  13. Really odd occurrence happened last night when we ran Synapse's TF. We had a player die and go AFK inside the "Clockwork Lord" mission and we completed the mission. With the rest of us outside in Skyway, and the defeated character still inside and not advancing the mission, we awaited Babbage. No dice. We figured Babbage would only trigger once the mission advances to get the Immobilizer Ray gun. So another character zoned using the south tram to go north (not sure why) and eventually the defeated player returned after several minutes. Babbage targeted the lone player (Ultimate Jack) in the North Tram. And not only that, Babbage did not get droned! We managed to defeat Babbage, so no worries. But 1> odd spawn location/behavior and 2> drone coverage is not perfect there.
  14. In order to "+" an IO in Mids, begin to select the enhancement/IO but don't click on it yet. With your mouse pointer over the IO, press the "+/=" button your keyboard and that will add 1 to the effective IO level (as if using a booster)... repeat pressing the same button until you get to the "+" value (+5?) you want. You'll notice that the IO level gains + <insert numerical value>. Then select the IO and it will place into the slot.
  15. Seems OK for a cheaper build. Especially if you are teaming with a support character to help buff your recharges & defenses... and stack holds like your husband's character could. If you are wanting to squeak every erg out of the character, you could use some Enhancement Boosters on the basic IOs. More recovery (i.e. Stamina) would be my first place to "+" but that is personal preference. Pretty good numbers, considering only using ATOs and no purples/Winter sets. Glad you're liking the powerset combo. It does require dancing and knowing your powers' optimal attack chains based on the mobs' size. What Incarnate options are you planning on taking?

  17. Perhaps implementing a sliding scale - or a set input amount - in the options section (like how we can auto-accept EX-ing or SK-ing when there is a level difference? Just a thought.
  18. I was the fellow who had the double-price bid. Tau is amazing, and I consider myself blessed to have lucked out in having my bid be won by a truly decent individual. I second this suggestion.
  19. Here is my current build. There are a lot of attacks and no Hasten. My logic was that I wanted to have melee + PBAOE, ranged, and my cones available. I don't mind dancing around to maximize damage output. Decided Intuition Radial instead of Musculature or Agility... I wanted to added hold duration to have Migraine mean more... and Radial gives +DMG and +Range too. Capped s/l + close to capped Melee positional defense all the time with effective full stealth. Clarion 120 second power on auto-cast, to keep me un-mezzed and have some KB protection. With Support active, even better defenses. This build is also team friendly, since -RES helps all of your teammates melt mobs quicker (not just you). Hope you like. Critiques welcome.   20. In version 3.0 / database i27 v20.1225, Sprint does not toggle on and it has always showing slotted in it a crafted run IO in the column view. Portal Jockey Accolade does not show up in the column view but toggles on when selected in the Accolades Window. Alpha slot/Intuition is not modifying the hold duration of Blastrer /sonic manipulation powers. Basic IOs are, though. Thanks for the update and Boxing Day gift.
  21. I took on Nightstar in the Black Shroud Oro arc. I monitored her Confuse Protection using Power Analyzer. She had +50 Resistance when her PToDs were up. I fought her for over 6 minutes, using my own attacks (Boxing and Electrifying Fences) as well as all three of my Robot Henchmen. At no time did her Confuse Protection show a negative value. It was either at 50 or at 0 when her PToDs dropped - no in between. I had slotted Cognitive Core Flawless Interface. My combat logs did show that minor psychic damage DoT was applied. I was playing a Lvl 50 Tech origin Robot/Elect Affinity/Mu. Where's the Raid (tm)? Log.txt
  22. I've been having issues with my MM's Cognitive Interface not firing for the Confuse portion. Fought for hours on TF or mission and not once did it proc. Thread here from the MM forum ( ). Any help?
  23. Thanks for the replies. Hopefully a Dev or GM can reply as well. Just a waste of incarnate components and time if it doesn't work.
