    Impressive numbers! What is you reasoning for including Kick in your chain? I love the prospect of more recharge, however I wonder how much i'm going to get out of a melee power. Apart from Blackstar, I usually like to stay ranged with this toon. Unless i'm missing a bigger picture?

  2. Ok! So I tweaked the build a little bit so I could add some resistance and still keep close to Incarnate level defenses (especially when you factor in Dark's -ToHit). I looked at the builds that both of you submitted and I tweaked mine a little bit to fill in some of the holes I think it had. I decided to re-add Hasten into the mix because I could get Aim + Blackstar up pretty much every mob with it (29 sec recharge). I was also still able to keep my procs in there and I think (I hope) they will serve me well! Thanks again everyone for taking a look at this build. I'll provide an update when influence permits lol :)

    I should have caught that... Inferno is THE power of the set. Herostats shows it doing more damage for me than everything else combined except the Judgement slot (which is great, but not as good as Inferno). 

    Definitely an oversight on both our parts haha. 

  4. @Hyperstrikei'm away from mids today but so far it looks like a great alternative! Thanks for providing feedback! I'll run the numbers when I get home later but so far the stats look solid.

     

    @CaulderoneYou brought up a great point about -ToHit! I have to factor that into consideration because once that's in play i'll really be at an advantage. I'll plug in tonight and do some testing.

    This is my first Sentinel and i'm not sure if i'm doing it right haha. I'm looking to get as much defense as necessary before it get ridiculously overboard. As of now, i'm not doing any incarnate level content so I figure *maybe* I could lessen my defense numbers. I'm looking for solid defense, good damage great survivability.   6. Update! In my haze of number crunching, I seemed to omit a MAJOR power in my build: Inferno (so silly, I know)..

     

    I come to you now with a new build, equipped with Inferno among other things. I decided to get rid of Hasten because after testing my attack chain without it, I see now that I can do without it just fine. Therefore I was able to add in Vengeance as well as some more defense to this build. I think this build is far superior to the previous one and I tested it out on Pineapple today for funzies. Please let me know if you see anything you would improve on!

     

    PS: For Incarnates, I plan to go with Musculature, Ion, Reactive, Clarion and Assault. I didn't choose a Lore yet so let me know if you have suggestions.

    I imagined using it in combination with Bonfire (slotted with the KB to KD IO). I'll def do some testing on Pineapple about that combo's merits.

    In any case, while I prefer focus on the +dmg, I think your build is quite good. 

    I didn't have the slots to spare to add into Weave. Maxed for defense I only went from 4.06% to 5.5% so I figured I could put those slots to use elsewhere. I might revisit that though. As far as more damage, I agree with you but I figured with the +damage Incarnates I would have a boost, while being a little more survivable. Though, I know Fire blasting isn't so much about survivability as it is melting your enemies before they attack back haha. Thanks for the response!

    Long story short, i'm looking to create a -not so- glass cannon. This toon is for PvE and generally end game content. I used @Honest Abe's build as slight inspiration while working on my own. I've managed to get around 30% positional defense and some decent recharge to boot. However, please feel free to rip this build to shreds. I'm not married to all of it and if you have a better suggestion, I'm all ears! Thanks in advance!
