  1. Yes! I hadn't even considered that, but absolutely. Thank you for thinking about NW, too.
  2. I'd like to see the Hero Corps chest emblem made available as a costume piece (maybe unlockable via missions?) One thing I've noticed is that the other part of most Hero Corps costumes- the shoulder harness (currently not available either)- would probably have to be implemented as a piece with the emblem, as there doesn't seem to be a way to implement a chest logo with similar sorts of pieces (like the bandolier) currently.
  3. I seem to recall the devs talked about trying to implement this originally, but I could be thinking of the devs that went on to CO and did in fact implement this system. On another (tangential) note, I recall the devs at one point talking about trying to somehow implement a more proactive approach to missions for villains whereby they'd actually be creating some kind of villainous plot that heroes would then need to react to. I could theoretically see implementing Mission Architect for this purpose somehow.
  4. I would love to see an Abandoned Lab put into First Ward somewhere. I always felt that this was one QoL item missing from the zone that would have helped to make it a very viable long-term base of operations. Always having to zone out to craft IOs breaks the verisimilitude and pace of the story arcs that take place there.
  5. Like others here, I like both versions, for different reasons. I kind of wish there were a way to use phasing to have both in-game story-wise. Like you would start out with the earlier version of DA, work your way through a story arc involving the BP and Mot, and it would transform into the much more difficult, Incarnate version as you hit that point.
  6. Anyone know what Mender Valen in Ouroboros is supposed to be for? She's a Mender I don't recall from pre-Homecoming, and she's standing in front of a shard, so presumably for some kind of new/future content?
  7. The Server Status page breaks down the population of various servers into "Hero" and "Villain." How does it quantify (if at all) the following: 1) Praetorians (pre-level 20) 2) Rogues 3) Vigilantes Presumably the latter two fall under either "Villain" or "Hero," respectively, but I'm very curious about the Praetorians. Inquiring minds.
  8. I'd love to see a new Galaxy City which combines under construction zones with devastated (irradiated) zones, and more of a storyline. There could be arcs dealing with reclaiming areas from crazy Shivan creatures, and a battle against the giant Shivan from the intro story arc. It could potentially be something like Dark Astoria- a new Incarnate zone- though I'd kind of prefer it not be. The storylines should hopefully keep it distinct enough that it wouldn't just be viewed as "non-PVP Bloody Bay."
  9. I seem to recall some bug in the Black Scorpion defeat all mission that made it impossible to complete sometimes (but maybe that was pre-Auto Complete?). Otherwise, I'd second recommendations on that as pretty simple.
  10. Given the story arcs of some of the characters associated with Praetoria, you are not entirely alone in this regard. ;D
  11. All of the King's Row Skulls story missions were on test and would have been a part of i24 had it been released. Sadly, any followups to those (excellent) stories may never come. I think the Devs were clearly leading to an ongoing storyline that would incorporate the Trolls and either some updated missions in Skyway City or in the Hollows (or both), and possibly that would have extended even further. They were an excellent series of story arcs, though, and have contributed to my character using King's Row as his home base. I think it was part of the devs revisiting older zones and updating and expanding the stories therein. (Personally, I'd love in an ideal world to see various city zones being able to support a much broader range of gameplay- so that one could have a "street level" guy from levels 1-20 or even all the way to 50 without having to also go into some of the more cosmic/mystical sorts of storylines.)
  12. I still haven't gotten any of my characters over there yet. From what I recall of the plans for it, though, wasn't this supposed to be a zone for all alignments?
  13. I noted this elsewhere, but I believe that is an asset that was brought over from an instanced zone by the SCORE group. There was an instanced mission in pre-sunset COX that involved a mission into Boomtown where the beginning of the zone showed these "redevelopment" art assets (I think it might have been a mission that originated in one of the revamped Faultline arcs, but I could be misremembering and it might have been an i24 mission on the test server). I think that there were some plans by devs to eventually revamp Boomtown like they did other zones, but that it hadn't gotten past that one instanced mission. I would absolutely echo the suggestions for zone revamps though; particularly Boomtown and Perez Park like someone else mentioned; if only to demonstrate the advances brought about by years of relative stability after the first Rikti invasion (the timeline has obviously advanced in other places; it should also have invoked changes and rebuilding elsewhere). Plus just giving more of a theme and storyline to various zones (and maybe giving some groups a bit more story as well). I also tend to prefer new and/or revamped zones be neutral zones; I am a diehard Redsider, but I think the opportunity to play more broadly together- having morally grey team-ups or even (if possible) some kinds of opt-in PvP would be great and makes things more dynamic all around. I would be all about this, as well. I know they'd basically ended the Loyalist/Resistance storylines at 20, but when they rolled out First Ward (and then Night Ward) I wish they would have taken the opportunity to revisit that and expand those morality plays. First Ward in particular with its post-apocalyptic theme and the sheer size and array of its enemies, would have been perfect to continue those plots (and I hope someone picks it up at some point). I haven't yet done it, but I always vowed when the game came back that I would create a character who would pretty much stay exclusively in First Ward. I think if they have dropped another hospital in there, and an invention lab (it could easily be an abandoned/ruined lab somewhere in mid-zone) First Ward would make for an excellent home base zone for a wide range of leveling and character roleplay.
  14. If you could add a new zone to the game what would it be? Blue Side, Red Side, Gold Side, PVP, or some combination thereof? One that I've long thought would be kind of cool would be an Oranbega zone. It would be available to both Heroes and Villains, with separate mission arcs for both as well as at least one Task Force (that could be performed by teams of any alignment). Circle of Thorns would obviously be the main threat there- both current models as well as hopefully some new baddies. Mu Mystics and other followers of Mu would be prominent, and I could even see a role for Coralax and some extension of their story in the zone.
  15. Everyone hit all the high points about rogues/vigilantes here, so I'll only add this: I24 had added the first Rogue and Vigilante contacts/story arcs. There were, if I recall correctly, one generic contact of each alignment (from whom you could get tip missions), and one story arc contact of each alignment. I don't recall a lot about either, as I only ran through them once each on test, but one of the two was decidedly more lackluster a storyline than the other (it was on par with the Villain intro story arc "Hearts of Darkness" which was very silly IMO; I believe that both were written by the same dev). I have not yet hit 20 in-game so I can't say whether those contacts were retained in I25 or not. From what I recall of the developer's notes on future plans beyond I24, they were also going to add Rogue and Vigilante stories in Khallisti Wharf, and the I24 contacts were sort of an experimental attempt to gauge interest in developing more alignment-locked content for those sides. Personally, I found it to be a really interesting area that I would have loved to see more exploration of, but I'm an avowed fan of Praetoria and the Loyalist/Resistance story arcs. Ideally, I think it would be great if both "Red" and "Blue" sides were somehow able to be better incorporated to allow play across alignments for all levels (or even just post-20) but that of course would be a very large project and something that was not on the radar for the Paragon Studios developers at any point.
  16. I see that there is a reconstruction project underway in Boomtown currently. Unless I'm mistaken, this was something that was only part of an instanced mission prior to the game's cancellation. Was this part of what was added by the SCORE team (putting the instanced assets into regular play) or am I just misremembering?
