  1. The tab can be dragged, IIRC, just drag it over the centre area, then you can see a faint border indicating that if you let go, it will split screen.

Alternative, go to your "good" toon, use /wdw_save , then go to the "bugged" toon, use /wdw_load . It's either wdw or /chat_save /chat_load . I forgot which.

  2. So the plan was to change her outfit to "angrier" whenever she gets defeated (which is surprisingly quite often), and "happier" whenever she levels up. I think I went overboard, I don't even have enough costume slots for her, at least now she has something to wear if she goes Villain. (The original default is #3.)

Same idea for my Red, except it's bigger whenever she levels up, and smaller whenever she's defeated.

Shouldn't Guts (The Main Character in a Manga Series called ''Berserker''.

Who even later gets an ''Berserker Armor''

be a Brute TW/W BRUTE instead of a SCRAPPER?

Gut's Brand of Sacrifice attracts evil spirits, so shouldn't he be Tanker? A very scrappy brutish Tanker.

I love the aesthetic of that room, but I hate that it appears in *defeat all* missions. I can't recall ever having to find a glowie objective in that room, but that scenario would also be a nightmare.

I won't mind the caves if the hints on the mini map appear a lot sooner. A serious lot sooner.

In "Rescue Coldwell heirs", you have to rescue Debbie Coldwell and Duncan Silver. Debbie is closer to the exit, so I found her first, and led her out. When it's Duncan's turn, the quest log is calling the wrong person.

  6. While playing with my fire Blaster main, I occasionally added a few other AT to my to-play-next list.

    Accidental Kick - Brute (MA/SR):

Inane - a Tanker, can't decide which one to use, so she got two hero outfits:

I tried to give them sensible outfits, and it's only after I screenshot them, I realised how shiny her ass is.

I feel like I remember seeing more backstories on live. I get so excited to see even just a few sentences typed. I feel like they're an important part of a superhero game.

Sometimes when I see a large group of people, I toggled on the reading emote, then read their bio one by one. I love reading their stories.

I will trust science and experimentation.  I just had a lvl 15 confuse training enhancement.  No one was bidding on it (0 for sale, 0 bids).  I put into 2 bids, one for 1K, and one for 10K.  Since you can't sell to yourself in the market, I had a buddy of mine sell the lvl 15 confuse training enhancement for 1 Inf.  Guess which bid won?

It sold for 10K.  Highest bid always wins...even at 1 inf.

I'll be honest, the market can be confusing and I wasn't going to be surprised at either outcome.

Hold on... So he paid 1 Inf? And you got 10k Inf?

Not quite a pure Spec Ops, but this is my 'main' character Fallout Engineer, who has a Resident Evil inspired chemical spec ops outfit.

He is Rad/AR Defender. Assault rifle not in the pic, but he uses the standard one coloured Black/Grey as it looks most like a flamethrower. Also has two gas canisters on his back to fuel said flamethrower!

I used armoured bodysuit for his chest and gloves. Camo trousers coloured black, and resistance boots.

Didn't read your text, but the first image instantly reminds me of Hunk.

  10. I just realised that Praetorian police has some sick-looking uniforms (I don't know if they are just recoloured of normal PCP since I don't walk up close to them).

Note to self. take a screenshot before posting.

I'm not talking about this: https://hcwiki.cityofheroes.dev/wiki/Praetorian_Police_Costume_Set

    It was something like https://hcwiki.cityofheroes.dev/wiki/File:SWATEqualizer1.jpg

1 - Restrict Hero and Villain alignments to 35+.  Everyone begins as a Vigilante or Rogue.

2 - Remove Hero and Villain flags on all contacts.  Everyone has equal access to all content.

3 - Move some contacts to level-appropriate maps on "the other side".  Everyone has a reason to visit both sides.

The engine makes extensive use of flags and pointers to data tables, so these changes should be possible without much, if any, code rewriting.  It would be thematically appropriate to have contacts for both sides on both sides, it would encourage players to explore both types of content since they could more freely access all of it, and it would improve teaming options.

Obviously, more villainous content would be necessary, but that could be accomplished by altering contact and mission text on some hero content.  For example, rather than "Stop the bank robbery!", the text could simply say "Investigate the bank alarm."  The motivation can be left to the player's imagination (perhaps he/she is protecting a bank which launders his/her money, or robbing the bank him/herself, or encounters a hated rival and stops the robbery out of spite).  The same approach can be applied to existing red side content, changing or removing references to motivation so players no longer have a sense of being hired help.

Once a player reaches APPs/PPPs, he/she can choose to go full Hero or Villain, or continue forward as a Vigilante or Rogue (and leave the paper/radio missions as they are so the option to switch remains).

That would be my preferred solution.  Tear down the walls which existed solely for the purpose of selling two copies of the game to each player.  It's one game.  Make it work as such.

How would that work for gold-siders?
