I'm not saying get rid of the hero costumes. I'm saying make 2 versions of each farm. A hero version and villain version. You can still kill hero cosplayers if you choose that version. That way you wouldn't have to load 250 costume options into a single AE mish.

*shrug* I get that.  I just think that sounds like a lot of work for very little benefit.

Especially given the current Blue/Red distribution, you'd end up with 245 costumes in one, and 5 lonely villains in the other. 🙂

I killed Kallisti Gold several times this weekend. So it was uploaded.

Brigg; I know you've lamented only having so many available slots for costumes, and some people have stated that it's odd killing themselves (or other heroes they recognize). how about a farm that segregates Heroes and Villains (A hero version and villain version of each). That way you wouldn't have to have 200+ characters to load into a farm. And heroes wouldn't have to fight other heroes; heroes could do the Villain one and vice versa. Just spit-balling.

Just throwing in my 2 INF, but I'd *hate* that.  Seeing other heroes I know is a great deal of the fun.

Remember, you're not fighting the heroes.  You're fighting people *cosplaying* the heroes. 🙂

Tonight I made a baby stalker (I hate stalkers) to see if I like the differences since oh...12 years ago.  A nice farmer got me to 21 in Bloody Rainbow and I saw my farmer I sent you!  Very cool.  I can't wait to go in there myself and fight myself.  I hate you had to change it but I think you did it in a very clever and community spirited way!  Thanks!

I've spotted my character (Magic Librarian) twice so far, and both times it was the *biggest* thrill.

I loved the original, and I'm sorry so much work had to be put in to revise it, but at the same time, the new version is just...*chef's kiss*.

Thanks for everything you do, @brigg!

  4. Echoing what others have said:  my biggest desire is just not having to start over.

New content would be fab, new powers.  Maybe addressing some of the powersets that maybe need a little love.

Honestly, though -- you guys haven't done me wrong so far, and I trust you.  Just keep up the good work!

  6. This is, I think, pretty recent, but i'm not sure when precisely it started.

When I launch the game, regardless of time of day, something triggers the Windows 10 feature that dims the blue light (Night Light settings in control panel->display).  If I go to the Control Panel and toggle it on and off, it resets to normal, but then soon will dim again.

It's not game-breaking, but it is odd.  Has anyone else encountered this, and if so, is there a fix/workaround to make it stop?  (I had, in the past, had Night Light scheduled to dim in the evenings, but I've turned it off, and it still is doing it.)

  7. See that's where you're wrong mate, it didn't affect me at all, the only lag I ever felt was felt as result of overloaded servers, not ping, this isn't an FPS, people used to play this on dialup back in the day <56k! :)

Its true.  I did play an entire weekend on a dialup modem, when my DSL was down.

To be fair, we *did* refer to the experience as "City of Slideshows", but the only time it was a huge problem was when there were a lot of power effects going off at once in a big team fight.  You could still do a lot of normal missions with a fair bit of smoothness.

Anyway, that was more a bandwidth problem than a ping issue.  I've been playing Homecoming from the west coast of the US, which is about as far away from the servers as you can get without getting wet, and I've had zero network-related issues, only server load issues.

Great job, Devs!  Thanks so much for bringing us home.
