I absolutely love the new Blackwing costume pieces, and in fact have a character built around the Blackwing suit components (in his roleplaying backstory he was an engineer who worked for a Vanguard/UN contractor that developed new tech for the Vanguard to use to defend Earth against further invaders and personally developed the Excelsion armor and forcefield by further refining and miniaturizing the Rikti technology that was used to create the War Walls. So the costume pieces are extremely important for his roleplaying.) Anyway, I love how all the pieces look, but there is one problem: the Boots. They match the Gloves and (especially) the Shoulder pieces, except that the border edging on the boots around the knee cops is all one solid pieces with the rounded knee cops, instead of the border edging being of the contrasting color as it is on the Shoulder pieces. I can still do some neat stuff with the Boots to make it look cool, but it was very disappointing when I realized that I couldn't get the Boots color scheme to match the Shoulders. I have no idea if it would be possible to do a refinement of the Blackwing Boot pieces and include it in a further patch, but it would make me extremely happy if it was possible.

I am constantly complimenting people on their costumes, and I always try to point out a specific element that impresses me. I do it so often that have a basic message format that I use; "I love your costume, my compliments! I especially like X." I don't have a quota or anything, but I always make sure to compliment anyone who has a costume with some thought that went into it, and hope it gives them a little smile for a bit.

I'd started playing EverQuest in '98, but in 2004 when I heard there was a new superhero MMO coming out one of my EQ guildmates and I started eagerly awaiting it's release. From Brell Serilis on EverQuest to Virtue on City of Heroes (and now Everlasting on City of Heroes: Homecoming.)

I have a Mutation psychic who was born with a genetic gift for psionics different from his parents, a Science psychic who gained his powers through a combination of chemical/drug therapy and bionic implants, and a Natural psychic who simply trained his ass off to develop a natural aptitude. It's whatever you think best fits your story idea.

Oh yes, absolutely, I second this! I was so disappointed when I saw the awesome Vanguard Back with jetpack, and yet it doesn't actually have any exhaust to show that it is a jetpack. As it is now, it's just a weird protrusion. Or even a glowy point like the Capacitor, just something to indicate that there's stuff going on back there. PS - That combo of Vanguard Jetpack + Rocket Boots is a rad idea.
