  1. As I recall there is several CoT badges:

    • Soul Binder: Which is any 100 CoT Mages
    • Could Blooded: Which is 250 of Hellfrosts or Hordelings
    • Weed Whacker: 50 Succubi or Hellfrosts

So I've been doing some testing by beating up Hellfrosts, and unless we can find Succubi somewhere, the Weed Whacker badge seems to be a valentine's event only badge.

  2. The Ouroboros challenge badges will not give badges if you are doing missions, you need to use them on Story Arcs. I discovered this myself the same way. You have to be sure that you're completing a story arc to get the badges.

  3. I've been playing redside, am currently a lvl 49 rogue, and already did the cape mission when Kalinda offered it.  There's no option to repeat the cape mission via Ouro, and Kalinda refuses to speak to me now;  have I permanently missed the chance to get this badge?

Same question, if I'm redside and do the cape mission do I loose the chance to do it blueside if I swap alignment?

  4. Well, seeing as this post is in the badges forum, I have a proposal. Much like the official "make up exploration badges for PvP zones" thread, maybe we can come up with a few ideas here. KW is a beautiful, well-made zone full of lots of different features, I'm sure we can come up with something!

I hope we see this too, there is a lot of space to explore some great places for a badge or two. It's also in need of some enemies and more NPCs its pretty barren as is.

  5. According to Paragonwiki, you may have one or the other (blue or red) version at any time.

If memory serves, when a character switches sides these badges automatically convert.

Oh, well that is convenient. Thanks!

Additionally, I remember there were a few places that you could earn two day job badges at once, but I no longer have a list of them and could not find a guide showing these offhand.

Ohh that would make things a lot easier, maybe in places like the Vanguard base? I'll see what I can dig up. If I find one or make one I'll post it in my first comment.

The good news is that it looks like time to earn a day job has been shortened to around 5 days...it used to be 21 days per badge.

Yes thank goodness for that! it would make getting badges like those extremely difficult.

  6. I'm just about finished with my grand tour of exploration badge hunting. (The abandoned sewers were a pain at my current level, thank you random person who sidekicked me to grab the last badge.) I'm now ready to start my journey into the wonderful world of sitting around and collecting the Day Job badges. Hooray!

    My question is:

Is it possible to get Day job badges for both the Blue and Red side?

For example, I'm a vigilante, so if I log off in a hospital I'll get the Caregiver Badge. Once I do if I swap over to the Rogue alignment and log off in a hospital again would I get the Pain Specialist badge as well?

If so that's double the waiting! What fun~!

    The Grass is Greener

In the battles for control of Recluse's Victory, it's not uncommon to see two completely different shades of grass on either side of the road. However you feel about Lord Recluse's possible asscent, one thing is certain: Arachnos doesn't take good care of their lawns.

    *whispers* That's already a badge.

  8. I generally prefer red side but with null now switching alignment on the fly I see no reason to stay on one side. I switch from vig to rougue and back depending on what I'm wanting to run. The only reason to stay pure hero or villain back in the day was for h/v merits but with alignment mishes all rewarding the same merits now that's gone too. It's made accolade powers significantly easier with grabbing demonic and high pain on red, Atlas on blue. No more nem tanks or illusion pets for me tyvm. Of course I suppose if you're one of those character concept types...

This is what I do to, especially as a badge hunter.

  9. My 2 cents: Nah, there are other shards you can try and there's a nifty tool that if you type a name and click the little magnifying glass that will tell you if that name is available or not. Just use that.

    I don't know.

If after two weeks of having the game around gives you problems to find a suitable name, then:

1.) You looked for the most generic ones.

2.) You tried to be a knockoff of a existing character from different brands and universes. Yes, I saw Gambit, Wonder Woman and a few others already.

3.) You didn't try hard enough.

We had to deal with that for years, so when you already got problem with a name now, with the playing field being reset, then I am sorry.

    Tough luck. :\

  10. You guys are pumping out puns like Clockwork, now if you Hellions would give it a rest before we hit our 5th Column of responses, we’d appreciate it, please don’t put up Resistance.

  11. Siren's Call

    • -668.7 99.7 1328.9 - Long Arm of the Law / Global Reach: Longbow initially proposed to incorporate these cranes into a forward base to bring the fight to Arachnos and out of the city, but eventually decided that they were too exposed and isolated to have strategic value.
    • -493.6 -127.7 -986.0 - That'll Buff Out: This rare, highly collectable '58 deCrecio Roamer would have the perfect patina for a dedicated restoration job... if the Warriors hadn't been using it for target practice.
    • -673.4 -105.6 419.0 - Volatile / Unstable: Before the invasion, this refinery was under investigation for its poor handling of explosive gases. Unfortunately, the government was right: during the first Rikti bombing run, a single hit was enough to cause a chain reaction that leveled the complex.
    • Completion reward - Refined

    Bloody Bay

    • 1936.2 -16.0 1804.0 - Earthy: A local favorite recipe brought over by an enterprising New Zealander in the late 50s, this Hero Burger's "B.B. Burger" features a thick slice of pickled beetroot.
    • 1936.2 -16.0 1804.0 - Refreshing: These desalination tanks turn seawater into fresh water for the residents of Bloody Bay with the simple power of sunlight. Not all science has to be super-science!
    • -859.6 100.9 -1973.3 - Sylvan: Researchers are investigating how to safely harness the energies that cause plant life to grow so thick and lush near Shivan meteor sites.

I love all of these, especially "Refreshing"

    Here's my suggestion:

    Recluses Victory-

Running Smooth: The Commuter once spoke here at length about the importance of maintaining a well functioning and punctual train transit system. He then made the polarizing promise that no matter the villainous plot, no worker would ever be late due to transit issues on his watch.
