  1. Simple Minds - Sanctify Yourself
  2. If Skeleton Crew winds up as Star Trek:Prodigy but in the SW universe, that might fly with me. If it's Jude Law as Hondo babysitting a load of brats, I could go a lot of parsecs in that too. And, well... it could be worse.
  3. John Carpenter - Night (Lost Themes) By the way - if you've been enjoying tonight's selection, you may also enjoy this Hypertellurians-inspired playlist...
  4. The Lions & The Cucumber - Vampire Sound Inc.
  5. Thylacine - From Space
  6. Yackety Axe - Bolton Studios
  7. Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band - Born In The USA* *Live In Mexico
  8. 🎂 Bill Withers - Use Me
  9. The Replacements - Portland
  10. I'm liking the ADR upgrades for a start...
  11. According to the Backstage directory site, they are one and the same. But having asked an online mate who's still in Whollyodd (via Georgia) and does casting, amongst other things... ...it seems in film and TV, they're now more commonly referred to as background actors / featured background actors - i.e. you take a scheduled action or speak (even if it's not a scheduled line, for example background babble that has to be on a convincing theme), which is also what they're referred to as by SAG-AFTRA's collective contracts. Extra is now more a stage and musicals thing. Though, in practice, he uses the term interchangeably.
  12. Quick thing that popped up on the SW twitter: as mentioned earlier, Krystina Arielle (The High Republic Show) got snuck in as a background actor (are they not called extras these days? ah well), and made a lovely, very illustrative little EPK on how being on set works for actors. And geeked out. A lot. Which is adorable. Don't deny you would too.
  13. Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights (Please feel free to join in at home, especially on July 30th)
  14. ...and a very Evil cameo right at the end of the credits. And, yes, the Delta '88 is in there. Twice. Thoughts in purple, because goth:
  15. Little Feat (ft Emmylou Harris & Bonnie Raitt) - Dixie Chicken
  16. According to ancient legends, the Sith gained their powers from suffering... through one too many Powerpoints. Also, I do love that the Sith really know how to co-ordinate their look.
  17. Non spoilery thought from James SA Corey (the Expanse writing hivemind): ...how does someone with the catlike* speed and precognitive ability to use a magnetised plasma sword to deflect a speeding bolt of plasma (which does seem to travel a bit slower than a bullet in atmosphere at least, but nonetheless)... ...get felled by a punch? There's all kinds of things inconsistent if you start suspending your disbelief in the whole space wizard movie thing. But what works for a plot works for a plot, much like many of the hardware solutions at my old work. If something works for you, you don't notice the gaffer tape, string, and that it might be slightly on fire. *not actually catlike, or you'd paralyse any Sith with sunbeams and/or hypnotic dangly string
  18. Bob Marley & The Wailers - Hypocrites
  19. This is also a mood right now. For reasons. (But also spoilered in case there's kids around). Lily Allen - F@!# You (Yeah, Pretty Much)
  20. Oh, well since the page is stickered now... yeah, still in that mood Rage Against The Machine - Killing In The Name Of (Explicit)
  21. I'd picked out songs over the last few days I wanted to post for you lot. Afraid you're gonna have to make do with this. Sorry* Twisted Sister - We're Not Gonna Take It 🖕 *not sorry
