  1. Greetings heroes ! The Alpha division SG is recruiting ! We're a casual RP SG hero side that accepts all types. As a casual RP SG, we accept people who prefer to work outside the concept, but we do have a theme and encourage those who wish to RP in the group. Those interested in the RP theme: The Alpha Division is an experimental PPD branch that enlists and trains a broad spectrum of supers in law enforcement, heroes of all walks and PPD themed characters will fit in well here, even those more toward the gray side can function as a rogue element or crooked cop scenario. We have a well regarded large scale modern city style base with several buildings, all meant to facilitate fun places to interact, hangout, and explore. I am most active in Pacific Time, from 3-10pm every day, but we have members from all time zones. There is a recurring event schedule, and a more specific schedule for other things. Task Force Tuesdays, we organize TF's to run with the group all day. Last time I went over 8 hours straight... Casual Fridays, a for fun day where we run normal missions in casual/civilian attire.   2. There used to be a weird bug where you could create base defenses as enemy targets, you could hit them and they would hit you. That was fixed some time ago. But even as a workaround it wasn't quite right because you could destroy the item permanently
  3. Always up to it. We're on Everlasting, The Alpha Division - Paragon HQ: code: alphad-1335 Our base isn't done, but it's got enough going to be presentable. The idea here is that our SG is a PPD division HQ for supers that work with law enforcement in a more official capacity, similar to the psi-ops and awakened divisions that already exist. It's a modern style office building with a main lobby, transport room, warehouse, medical room, meeting hall, training room, mess hall, and rec room. There is also a roof access that goes to a helipad and gives a clearer view of the surrounding area. That surrounding area is my next phase of the project, as I need to make it create the illusion of a surrounding cityscape. currently just the sidewalks and a small park are done. I always build around a theme and try to make things RP friendly, being an old virtue main
  4. That's certainly now how that's supposed to work. You hold shift, click and drag the item up, let go of the mouse button, then let go of shift. If you let go of shift during the lift process it will revert to normal surface movement. The same applies to moving a raised item along the horizontal axis using ctrl. If you want to stack them a different way, you can also tap F5 while placing the item to change its anchor point to surface, this will allow you to stack almost anything without having to use the shift lift.

  6. I do like the options, and it has a fair amount of customization. I turned the filters down a fair bit because it was doing wacky stuff to auras and reflective surface like metal and water. It certainly looks better than CO's cell shading effect, which amuses me since that game was build with it in mind, but if find CO's outlines and edge seeking way to aggressive and it's gross looking. CoH's new version can be reigned in to just a nice "pop" to all the geometry without getting too overboard
