I plan on bringing Kataigis - Elec./Storm Summoning Controller.
-
Ah, I nearly forgot to sign up. I'll bring Heirloom Tomato - Plant/Psi Dom.
-
Hmm, I think I'll bring (Officer) Eury - PB? Though I am very tempted to just roll a fresh alt. Also: I have two questions on this one. Is this theme costume supposed to be going as naked as possible? And would a Rad/Energy Tank fit the "All Energy" part?

Haha, I don't believe I have a bio on her! Her name is a (probably too) elaborate pun: CRISPR is an acronym for "Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats" and there have been a number of recent scientific news stories about its usage in bio-tech, so I combined that with the idea of a "crisper drawer" in a refrigerator to temporarily rename my mutant plant control character since she'd be in a costume where her mutant brain would be "kept fresh." Again, it's a silly pun but it got a quick chuckle out of me when I thought of it so here we are.

I'll bring Gelida Obscura - Ice/Time Corr.
-
Ack, I nearly forgot to sign up this week. I think I'll bring Vegetable CRISPR - Plant/Mental Dominator.
-
By the way, is this for general fairy tale creatures/characters or specific to common European fairy tale characters? I'll bring Pepsis Regina - Mind/Savage Dom. But I just wanted to clothe her right.
-
I'll try to bring Torquens - DP/SR Sentinel.
-
Thanks! I thought it'd be fun to give a name to my demon horde and the Malebranche felt right.
-
Unfortunately, I don't have an archery or staff character. Would a more modern interpretation work? If so, I'll bring Infirmanda - Thugs/Poison MM. She definitely has the right persona, and brings her own band of merry men.
-
So, if it helps people decide any better, I plan to bring the MM, since he's a touch better for the group setting.
-
Thanks for the photos! I was kind of surprised how easily/quickly we breezed through the TF with just the four of us. Props to our support for keeping us from dying not even once.
-
Let's see, I can bring either Caedes (DB/Nin Stalker) or Alichino (Demons/Pain MM). Either could use the badge(s), but the MM might be a touch helpful in that last fight.
-
I'll bring my mecha Elec./En. Blaster.
-
This is a neat idea! Would a cyberpunk/post-apocalyptic look also fit in with this? I remember a couple trashy shows and movies of the time having an urban post-apocalypse vibe to accompany computers and information networks collapsing.
-
Here's a few: All magician/illusionists run (blueside would be my preference) Time-travelers (redside would be my preference) Mutants and monsters All brain-in-a-jar characters for a Synapse TF All storm blast/storm summoning All radiation (blast/manipulation/emission/melee/armor) All plant/nature And, it's a bit down the line, but I'd be up for vocational/trade/apprenticeship jobs for Labor Day.
-
I'll try to bring Caelum - Storm/Elec. Blaster. And, re: that first Saturday in June, I'd be up for something short like a Market Crash? I have my Demon/Pain MM who's waiting to do that one. (How he'd look "touristy" I'm not exactly sure yet.) Though, if we just take the week off, that'd be fine too.

A quick internet search (since the name was alien to me) taught me that a couple of the costumes for the character I brought today might have hewn close to some of his looks oddly enough. Fun to know!
-
Nox - Fortunata I think I'll end up looking a bit boring by comparison but so it goes.
-
Ah, sorry! Yes, I did mean Symphony Control/Thermal Controller. I wasn't sure if Symphony was "Sonic" even though it's "musical." Thanks for accommodating me (again)! Also, to cut-off my confusion ahead of time, how should this look? I'm decidedly ignorant of fashion shows (or, perhaps even, being fashionable : P) so I could use some guidance.
-
Does Sym. Control count? If so, I'll bring Nuntius - Sym./Thermal. If not, I'll have to work something out.
-
I'm glad my suggestion is getting seconded! I think that the common wisdom/meta of Musculature/Cardiac Alpha-Ageless/Barrier Destiny-Assault Radial Hybrid would be a bit limiting, if not outright hampering, for my builds. I've found that there is a lot of interesting options and interactions to be found in the Incarnate System once you start tinkering. And, although I do have it slotted on a few characters, I'm a bit wary of Support Hybrid because I think I read somewhere that the "pets" for which it doubles its bonuses is actually only MM henchmen rather than all "pets." That said it does give some nice bonuses all the same so it works well (I think?) in settings where you're on a team and the extra team/league oomph is better than just individual effort.
-
The "Intuition Radial" Alpha is great on my Controller with /Rad, and I really like the "Control Core" or the "Melee Core" Hybrids. Not sure if that helps?
-
Sorry I had to leave a touch early today. I hope the rest of the TF played out okay. I plan on bringing Alichino - Demons/Pain MM. (Thanks again Trixie for adjusting the theme to accommodate.)

I'd guess something like 80 - 90%? I have about two Redsiders for every Bluesider, and almost all of the Redsiders are 50 and along a bit (or completely) "Incarnated." I play them on Indomitable and Everlasting. I sort of wish there was a more robust population for Redsiders on Indom. so teaming was less a Herculean task. But, I have found that thoose I do end up teaming with seem like nicer folks, oddly enough. (Maybe, we're too busy being evil to NPCs to be so to each other?) In a word, "complicated." For the most part, I like the mission content for specifically Redside: it feels dirty and dark as I do petty villainy like robbing Banks and beating up thugs as well as the super villainy like taking down a well-known Hero or ambushing a major establishment in Paragon. I find there's a great catharis in sometimes just being able to hop on and have my character puch some holier-than-thou in the face. The only real issue I take with Redside content comes with the frequent "need" to have parity between Redside and Blueside, which in turn, ultimately, translates into make co-op content written for Blueside and my Redsiders are stuck doing some act of heroism with only a nominal hand-wave toward my alignment. (I'm looking at you RWZ and Dark Astoria.) Mostly, though, it's nice for Redsiders to get a loose "win" without having to do heroics to get there- something done well in the SSAs and, more recently, in the Dr. Aeon SF. Besides radical flights of fancy where I'd completely re-do St. Martial to be a tropical, lavish casino-resort with a dark underbelly, most of my wish-list for Redside is sort of mundane. I'd really love for the enemy groups I face to be redone and re-balanced. Longbow - a public hero group - shouldn't be doing the secret agent/espionage stuff that Wyvern was explicitly supposed to be doing. Similarly, it'd be nice if Legacy Chain and Midnight Club were re-balanced so it felt more natural when I interacted with a "magic" hero group. And, I wish I faced Skulls, Lost, Outcasts, Trolls, and Warriors in a more engaging and different way than just though paper missions (if at all). For example, why does Zephyr - a magic/elemental villain - have Goldbrickers - a tech-focused gang - helping him? (Surely, Outcasts would have been a better fit there.) Or, why do I never really have to deal with Lost before suddenly having it shoved into my lap that they're being converted into Rikti? I think my hope for the HC Devs with respect to Redside, is that they don't perpetuate the problem of the old Live Devs. Making things for Redside shouldn't be thought of as wasted development time because the majority is Blueside, and Redside would feel less empty as long as Devs keep the on-going plots/stories from rotting into nothing.
