  1. I am not a technically-oriented person when it comes to computers, and the latest Mid's update has posed a challenge for me, but with a little assistance I was able to get it to work. so I'll share what I did, with one caveat: I really don't understand why/how it worked. 1. I used my computer's Control Panel to completely uninstall Mids. 2. I used File Explorer to search: MidsReborn 3. I deleted everything that came up in that search, and emptied my Recycle Bin. 4. I installed the dot net 8 that was mentioned. There's a link in Mids Reborn Discord Announcements. 5. I thought this had fixed my problem, but when I closed Mids and reopened, it reverted back to the previous database and told me my build was created with a newer version,. 6. I tried updating the database both from the prompt and by using the Help to search for new updates. The updater failed on both occasions. 7. I went back to Mids Reborn Discord Announcements and saw that I also needed an updated C++redistribuable, whatever that is. (AKA Bootstrapper) 8. I checked my version and saw it was 2015-2019 and that a newer 2015-2022 version could be obtained by clicking the link in the Mids Reborn Announcement. 9. I installed the C++redistribuable 2015-2022, and restarted my computer when prompted. 10. I opened Mids and this time the update took just fine. I closed and reopened just to make sure. For anyone with my dismal lack of computer skills or better, I'm sure you'll be able to get Mids updating correctly again. I hope my non-technical post helps you in some way.
  2. I see this topic was posted a while back,. While I was looking for the same sort of information, I wound up simply doing my own. So here's my Time/AR build. I wanted to have ample amounts of recharge to take advantage of Time Manipulation's buffs. I added procs to attacks to try to get damage into a respectable range. It doesn't come cheap, but this is the build I'm planning for the upcoming Justice Superteamers "Timey Whimey" team found here: Anyway. Here's the build I'm using. And I had a bit of help from the aforementioned superteamers to improve it and get it team-ready. This Hero build was built using Mids Reborn 3.1.1.2 https://github.com/LoadedCamel/MidsReborn Click this DataLink to open the build! 3. Looking forward to starting this Friday. After a little more thought, I decided to go with a defender and a pirate theme. Look for me as Pitchin Ketch, a TA/Dark defender.
  4. Thank you for putting this together! Great bunch of people in this group. Was nice to see some folks ding 50 too! I had a blast tonight with my Ice/Cold Dom controller, and really enjoyed being so very non-squishy. I went from 26 to 35, and loved every minute. Looking forward to more ST goodness!
  5. I'd be interested in participating this Friday if the group is still active. Wish I had seen this sooner. I'd like to get an idea of generally what level the group is right now, so I can get up to speed.
  6. Been out of touch during the holidays, but I'm back now. Thank you Psylenz0511 for getting this show on the road. I'm gonna go ahead and roll a new Defender for this. Is there any interest in sticking with a dedicated primary or secondary or just whatever? I kinda have my eye on Storm/*
  7. That'd work for me. How much interest in this is there? Just you and me?
  8. Seems like Rad or Dark would have lots of synergy in and of themselves. Of course it might also be interesting to choose something sorta off-the-wall like Empathy or Pain and explore the possibilities.
  9. Participated a few superteams back in the day. If this is happening, I'd love to join. Just lemme know what to roll.
