  1. Faceplanting a lot and hate heading to the hospital or begging for Rezzes?

Send yourself multiple Awaken inspirations to your @global email for those (VERY RARE) occasions when you are defeated and do not have a self resurrection power or an awaken inspiration in your inventory. Always keep a supply of them in your email. That way, you can retrieve an awaken for yourself (or teammates) from your email on any of your ALTernate characters, even during missions, and trials, and task forces.

Are all of your new characters broke?

If you have enough INFluence/INFamy/INFormation on one character to spare, always keep some in your @global email. when you make a new ALT, collect the "INF" keep some of it and email the rest of it back to your @global using the reply email button

Have trouble remembering other player's names when ALTing?

If you want to send someone a /tell (a private in-game message) after you change to an ALTernate character (for example if you are changing to an ALT to join a team), perform the following steps: 1) before you change characters, click the team leader's name in the chat window and select "send <player name> Message" from the dropdown list. Selecting that option will populate the typing field of your chat window with the beginning of a /tell to that player. 2) exit to the character selection screen and select the ALT that you want to play. 3) when you return on your ALT, the "/TELL <player name> will still be waiting in your chat window, just add your message and send the /Tell.

  2. I miss teaming with a friend and using unlimited aggro to kite large numbers of any type of foes into dumpsters and reaping what seemed like lots of XP on fire tanks before brutes were invented.

I miss the first time I, as a newb, saw a lvl 50 devouring earth Fungi emanator in a low-ish zone and was afraid to get near it because it was so far above my level.

I miss the first time I entered Steel canyon and was owned by Outcasts that could fly before I had the option to fly.

I was trying to find a current one that could tell me how things are structured, but I keep getting this error if I use Pigg Viewer Pro on any of the current i27 pg4 pigg directories:

Would you mind providing a file path or a directory structure path within the pigg indicating one of the directories that gives you the error? I might have time to do a little testing.

I've modded a few in-game textures (faces, chest emblems, billboards, mini maps...) but I have not run into any troubles with pigg viewer pro(version 0.2.5.20860) so far on Win 10.

  5. Are you farming things that offer no XP /inf, such as the such as unlimited CoT portal-spawned demon minions,  or the unlimited portal-spawned rikti in the "recover the container/ Hero1 mission in RWZ, or something so low that it cons grey?

  6. for Lucent Legacy of Light – Defeat 200 Legacy Chain Lieutenants (and the minion badge too):

In Mercy Island, at [-2432.2 96.0 -2256.8] , NE of the Darwin's Landing Marker,  a good number of level 5 and 6 Legacy minions and lieutenants spawn and re-spawn constantly around little circular Legacy runes on the ground. You can farm this area quickly and continuously for those badges.

(Note: seems like these spawns are not always present. Similar to the Fires in Mercy, they may need to be "unlocked" by one of the lower level contacts)

  7. Hi, doing this badge today and found the following:

    Quote

Complete Laura Lockhart's arc Collateral Damage via Flashback, fulfilling these additional objectives:

    • In the mission Infiltrate the 5th Column Base, use the crate containing the Handwritten Note clue.
    • Before starting the mission Stop the Fighting in Steel Canyon, speak to Mender Valen in Ouroboros and accept the Ouroboros Teleporter.
    • Within this mission, successfully protect the Dupont Towers building by completing the objective Protect Dupont Towers! within the time limit.
    • In the mission Defend the UNSF Base, when speaking to Laura Lockhart use the Ouroboros Teleporter.
    • Before starting the mission Track down Leon, visit Mender Valen in Ouroboros again.
    • Within this mission, speak to Mender Laura.

(hope no one minds the necro post)

Mob Specialist – Defeat 200 Prisoner Bosses and Lieutenants

The badge itself says you have to kill bosses, but Lieutenants count as well. You will probably get this about the same time you get the Warden badge – lieutenants are pretty common in the best Prioner hunting grounds. It’s also notworthy that lieutenants and bosses are guaranteed as part of the prison break zone event, so if you are in a hurry for some reason, that may be a good option.

It appears that the requirement for:

"Mob Specialist – Defeat 200 Prisoner Bosses and Lieutenants"

    has been changed to:

"Mob Specialist – Defeat 100 Prisoner Bosses" (and Lieutenants no longer count). I have confirmed the change by defeating prisoner lieutenants in Brickstown, resulting in no change in my progress bar.  Afterwards, I defeated three bosses, and those three counted on the progress bar.

The prison break event spawns 3 bosses per event. I have also found most of the following locations to reliably spawn a prisoner boss repeatedly if I sweep the map in a repeating path. (coordinates are listed in a counter clockwise path starting with the SW location.)

    prisoner_bosses_bricks.jpg.3b0d4ef8d5cf010b12943b51f296a325.jpg

I ended up street sweeping to get my last 50-ish bosses, at a rate of 3 or 4 bosses per sweep. The spot in the middle of the East wall is the least reliable of those shown. The spot near the SouthEast corner is two locations above and below the ground level. All of the prisoner bosses have a bright or dark energy glow around their heads and/or hands, making them fairly easy to spot.

    Hope that helps,

  9. Just to kind of confirm and reiterate what has been stated in bits and pieces in the above replies, it seems that you will NOT be awarded the badge through Ouroborus, even if you have run all of the DA arcs through Ouroborus and completed the Dilemma Diabolique trial.

To get the badge, it appears that you have to run Dream Doctor's full arc with him as an active contact, and not through Ouroborus. This probably means that you have to start with Heather Townsend's arc (you can just walk up to her as a lvl 50(+) incarnate) and get passed to each consecutive DA contact until you get to Dream Doctor. (Dream Doctor and some of the others can only be reached by phone and do not appear as in-zone NPCs, so in your contact list they will display "????" instead of "Dark Astoria" as their location. After his main arc, and his personal story mission, he will still be an active contact and he will provide a few extra missions involving Praetor Duncan and Diabolique. As mentioned above, when Dream Doctor finally tells you you must "Complete the Dilemma Diabolique Trial", you can autocomplete it. I think the badge awarded for me automatically at that point.

  10. Hiya,

Captain Mako's final arc via Ouro. The mission is "Take down Lord Recluse" after talking to Technician Naylor. I think the mission text is supposed to say "He threatened to use my intestines for a fishing line if I didn't do what he told me." instead of  ".. if I didn't do what I told him."

FWIW, I couldn't find any Circle of Thorns in Romero Heights.  Raimi Arcade, however, is chock full of them.  There's a skyscraper just northeast of the Raimi Arcade marker where the CoT hang out in enough numbers to hunt them quickly.  After I found that spot, it took 5-10 minutes to get this badge.

@Jaack , my experience was the same as Zhym's in case you want to edit your list. I scoured Romero and couldn't find a single CoT, but Raimi had lots. Appreciate your excellent list!

  12. Without seeing a screenshot of the mission waypoint it's hard to guess, but I assume it is in the arachnos tunnels which can be entered from either side of the dam. The entrance south of the dam is easy to spot, just go through the damn then turn right (west) and look for the arachnos turrets and a hole going down into the tunnels.

On this map, the tunnels are the dark paths to the left of the dam and the two entrances are green dots:

  13. TL;DR: If you are checking all your alts for the magic bugged radio mission with incarnate cimeroran traitors, I think this is what you should look for. Good luck, badgers!

Long explanation: I spent some time getting new radio missions in PI and came across one called "Get Neural scrambler from the Arachnos". The mission objective is "Get the neural scrambler" which I think is the same objective in the bugged radio mission I joined. I believe the mission entrance location is also the same, however the interior map was a different cave/mine layout than the mission I joined to farm incarnate cimerorans. The interior villains in this newly accepted radio mission were Arachnos as advertised. I THINK this is the mission that is filled with incarnate cimeroran traitors for those lucky few who accepted the mission before the last batch of badges were introduced.

I suspect you're right that you had to have the mission before the patch. I have tried about 20 PI radios mission w/o luck.

Probably a mob list got adjusted by the patch and existing missions were using the old values.

Your friend could probably make a lot of money selling access to that mission. 🙂

I am attempting to track them down to suggest such a thing.  Possibly they may be laying low to avoid unwanted celebrity.

New changes will probably be implemented soon that will render this quirk unnecessary.

Additional observations, an immunes surgeon in the mission teleported, which is not typical immunes surgeon behavior. I'm not sure if that indicates the additional abilities of incarnate cimerorans, or if it suggests the foes in the mission were "reskinned" CoT or Skyraiders or some other faction with teleporting members.

I'm pretty sure I read about such happy bugged missions somewhere else. or I might be thinking of the bugged (?) mission that gives Void hunters (an "odorous cloud" or something like that). Hardcore badgers may benefit from checking any blue radio, or tip or regular missions in the lvl 50 range that might be temporarily ahead of the incarnate cimeroran curve.

So, it sounds like a radio mission. Can you tell us what zone you were in?

Hi, the mission was in Peregrine Island.

I suspect it was a radio mission that used to be some other villain group but got changed to incarnate Cimerorans due to some kind of unexpected programming coincidence when the new content was added. The mission is in a cave and contains a glowie (if you have the mission, do not click the glowie or you will complete/lose the mission).

  16. Hi,

For the Legatus badge, (defeat 100 incarnate level Cimeroran traitors), there is at least one blue side mission that currently has them. I believe it is a radio mission (or possibly a tip mission) and the mission objective is "Get the Neural Scrambler". It is possible that the mission owner would have had to acquire the mission before the introduction of the new badge, as the mission may have been inadvertently (or intentionally) changed with the addition of the new badges and associated updates.

A generous player invited my to join for the badge. About 81 traitors in the first run then the remaining 19 after a reset. I don't have permission to give out the player name, but check your alts for an old level 50 tip that might involve a neural scrambler or Cimerorans.
