Synaptic Overload is a great power and lasts really long in addition it doesn't cause any aggro on you. If you like Jolting Chain, you will love this power.
I am undecided yet on the Gremlins though. They can jump pretty high and frequently jump on balconies and ledges in those Skyraider base or CoT cave missions. Their AI doesn't seem to be the best.
I'm level 35 so far with my Elec/Time. Elec/Kin would have been my second choice, but I just love the combination of Time's Juncture and Conductive Aura way too much. :)
-
Why I love this power:
- Cone attack that goes off as often as most similar ST attacks - granted, it hits single targets a chunk of the time
- Chance to knock down - nice one-two with Fissure (I took the Stone epic)
- Chance to stun - stacks with Flashfire (and Fissure) nicely.
+ you can slot "Force Feedback: +Recharge"-proc into it. :)

Thanks a lot for your insights, Gorgar! I'll gonna have a closer look at the hold. Do you by chance have an old build flying around?

Here's what I came up with... no slots and no enhancements yet. Just to have an overview which skills I want to take. How did you manage to fit in all 5 powers from Dark Mastery? Did you cut Hasten, Super Speed or Recall Friend? I think all of them come in very handy.
-
*whispers* it's the legend...
I was hoping to find you here.
-
I would skip World of Confusion in favor of Fluffy.
-
I could use some help and advice on a Dark/Sonic/? build.
What I want:
Dark: all powers except Petrifying Gaze (since I prefer the -Res in Screech) and Black Hole.
Sonic: not sure if I want Siren's Song and Amplify. If I could fit one of them in I would prefer Siren's Song.
Overall: Solid support through -Res and -ToHit combined with good survivability. I love cones! So far I've been having a lot of fun with Fearsome Stare into Howl (plus Shockwave if needed)
What I don't want:
More pets besides Fluffy
Undecided:
I'm not really familiar with Defenders APP/EPP and don't know if I must take one? Lately, I have seen a lot of support builds that don't use them or just take one of the armors.
I'm just starting to figure out Pines and reading tutorials on how to make a build. So far I am lvl30 atm and running with all available powers + hasten, combat jumping, recall friend, maneuvers, and tactics.

What makes CoH stand out besides the amazing community is that queuing abilities, ragdoll physix and flashy effects make a rather slow paced combat system feel immersive, engaging and fast paced.

My game time was very limited this weekend, but had a chance to jump on a TF and try out the -knockup changes with my earth/icy dom.
I have always loved the BOOM!! of stone cages - and being able to spam them on top of my earthquake was giggle worthy.
I’m almost tempted to give ice control a go again. My ice/kin was parked next to my grav/emp as “glad I made it to 50, but never playing this again”. Might recreate my ice/ice/ice tank (another glad I made it but ...) as either a controller or a dom.
Outstanding change not getting the attention it deserves.
As an Earth/Storm Controller I can confirm. Tons of fun!

Hier ist noch einer. Aktuell nur auf der blauen Seite unterwegs.
Global: @Guffnat
Chars:
Moonlit Knight, Dark Crystal, Sandsturm, Newton, Zappzarapp... ähm und noch ca. 20 andere Controller und Defender im Bereich von 22-35.
Laufe momentan hauptsächlich DFB, DiB, Positron und Synapse TF und Radio Missionen um herauszufinden, was mal der Main wird. ^^

Arcane Bolt comes in super handy for Controllers like Earth/* that don't have a solid single target attack chain or for builds that tend to skip their single target root.
-
Looks promising, Dahle. I run something very similar with Elec/Time. I still need to find my way around Pine's and might post my planned build later.
-
Wouldn't Gale with a KB to KD be super effective control on a short cd?
-
But Lift deals additional dmg against targets affected by Gravity Distortion (just like Propel) and it's nothing to sneeze at.

Okay after doing my Grav/TA, I found your missing recharge. I moved a bunch of slots around so it may definitely need tweaking to be more suitable. The big bonuses I found were
- Downgrading Superior Will of the Controller to just regular WotC. This allowed me to steal slots and make Brawl another 10% purple
and
- Splitting slots around to find more 5% bonuses
So, Perma Overgrowth, except that Hasten only has one slot now and a .4 second downtime. You could fix that by stealing the recharge out of Indomitable Will, but I thought that half a second without hasten was worth having more uptime on your mez protection.
Also all your KB protection is gone. I think I switched some of those slots to +resist IOs, as that became the secondary focus of what I was doing. Anyway let me know what you think!
Cheers
I think you forgot to link your build or am I missing something?

You are a man of taste! That sounds a lot like my Wormhole into TripMine plans I have for Grav/Traps.
Why do you pick Lift so late? I would switch positions with Crush. But I guess that is just personal preference.
-
Earth/Storm is really amazing for teams. You can make them steamroll with all the -def and -res you have in your toolkit.
-
Your best bet would be the WhisperWitch guides on the old forums:
- sadly this is before IO-Sets and inherent Fitness Pool, but you can get a basic idea
Tactic's for Mind Control / Force Field
- this is an amazing read for advanced tactics with your powers
There was an advanced video guide for I20 but sadly this video (and all the rest of them) aren't available on youtube anymore.
I really hope someone saved them and might re-upload them.

Earth Dark is good fun and a team friendly built. I enjoy mine so far (22 right now).
Like Rocketmandb I would suggest slotting Tar Patch for recharge only and put more Slots into Fade. You could also take a look at Psionic Mastery. Indomitable Will and Mind over Body are always great picks.

I have tweaked the visuals to baby blue/pink for Ele/Time ... looks kinda neat. For Grav/Time I made them blue/green to match the Gravity powers. The noise is not that annoying but I get what you mean. I could never play Beam Rifle because of the sounds.
I heard that KB>KD IO comes in quite handy with the imps.
