  1. higher than people are willing to pay because people offer it too much lower. stupidly lower. thats the point here, and yes then people sellign for the legitimate fair price get a WW inventory piling up with stuff that wont sell. it's cheap enough at 10k! sheesh! you want to go lower? I'd forgive a n00b for that because they honestly might not have known. But this is far too common to be n00bs. and the fact it's being defended means there is some invested interest in the way it's currently operating. the recipes WOULD sell just as fast if everyone listed for shop price or higher, but because someone keep putting things up for lower that shop price on purpose things at the shop price wont sell! there doesn't need to be a cap or a ceiling, there's needs to be a floor! it's just mean to stock the market up with oranges listed below the shop price, people using them to make that little bit more to afford thier next toon suffer because now it takes 3 times as long! this is the negative effect! just a few weeks ago all rares were selling for 15 to 20 k now it's 3k below the shop price! it's obscene! I was counting on the 15 to 20k! I sell everythign else I can get my hands on too, through blood sweat and tears as they say! now oranges are worthless? WTH?!! why are you doing this to us? (I assume it's not just me that noticed and is effected by this, and from in game chat I've heard others say they have noticed it too, they said it's just a trend and when people stop supplying at that rate it'll go back up, but here you are defending that rate!)
  2. alternatively it could be the same as the crafted normal IOs. I just thought that was too low as a minimum. maybe somewhere in between, good call though! I had assumed it's be the price of an enhancement converter (1 merit), at around 80k a merit so 100 merits (purple recipe) would be 8mil. maybe I mis-remembered. ROW ROW FIGHT TEH POWA! nah really .. that was.. a poor argument. I mean it would have been great except for the glaring contradiction. OBJECTION! http://objection.mrdictionary.net/ aww.. they took it down..
  3. what was I thinking? why did I even get angry, sorry all. *shakes head at self.* to think after all my arguing I couldn't see the benefits to everyone of keeping the market as is. Also thank you all a lot. I'll remember this. next time I should ask why and wait for the answers before I assume I know everything.
  4. yadda yadda, didn't see the value, face palmed hard at self, thankyou everyone for your time to really drive this home.!!!! DO NOT IMPOSE A MINIMUM MARKET PRICE THANKYOU and many apologies for the nuisance and ignorance I have shown. and again thankyou for your effort to convince me EVERYONE! I appreciate it. I was an idiot.
  5. thankyou! Yeah I figured a UI would be a difficult thing to do, Maybe it would be more possible to create new body region groups in the existing costume editor and merely call that UI with the pet summon as the target. what do I mean?: Right now we have groups such as "head" which has options for helmets or masks and faces and hair and detail 1 detail 2, obviously robots wont be able to accept all these , so we can code robot's head piece as "Robotic Head", and give it access to custom lists of costume options defined by the devs. full helmets might be ok, the clockwork faces would be ok etc. instead of upper body; [pet type] + Upper Body, call list with that name. instead of lower body; [pet type] + Lower Body, call list with that name. etc. so we would in essence use the existing UI but call different lists and buttons instead of the ones a player character might have available, depending on the pet summon type. could even have things like "Wolves" and "Humanoid Wolves" where the costume editor allows you to replace the wolves with any human pet with a wolf head? not sure, I'm not going to dictate what costume options are available for what. I'll leave that to the devs and community, but this would allow us to use the existing UI and just add more options and restrict options based on summon type. still would require another contact at Icon. it could be the same contact and pull up a simple window before the UI with multiple selections like: 1: [edit your costume] 2: [edit a pet's costume] from where for #2 it'd maybe have you drag the power into the window and hit enter. and load the costume editor UI.
  6. Yeah, I was certain someone had mentioned this before, but I searched the forums and couldn't find it. if there was such a thread if someone could link it that'd be great. So, yeah the request is for a pet costume customizer. it doesn't mean every pet will have all costume options, but humanoid pets should be able to change their clothes or face or gender or such to the normal abilities of the average player. other servers seem to have achieved this through the other character costume slots. but I think we can do a custom job, so, what am I suggesting; 1: a new contact at Icon that is just for pet customization. (it'll ask you to select the pet you wish to customize the costume of then load the typical costume editor but with the pet as the target.) if there is more than 1 pet in the summon, ex: 3 robots, it'll give you options to make alternate costumes. 2: a new UI for pet customization (based off the original costume editor UI). it'll have to be loaded based on individual pet summon types (so a costume editor specific "summon type" designation will be necessary, EX: Robots, Zombies, Animals), as not all pets may be able to take all costume parts. 3: Pet costume slots. 4: extend to all pets, mastermind, and lore etc. Again this does not guarantee that all pets will be able to be fully customized, just the humanoid ones. others might just have color or scale adjustments until more alternate costume parts can be designed.
  7. Sorta City of heroes oriented: the Marvel character "Ego". what would be his CoX origin? Natural? Magic? Technology? Mutation? Science? it's a perplexing question and depends how you look at it I guess... anybody out there got a good idea of what it'd be? I honestly can't find any way to pick a single origin for such a character.
  8. nope, it's electric blast, we don't want fireballs here. though they are both cousins where both are bodies of plasma arcing between fuel or energy sources, fire arcs from fuel combustion, where as electric arcs based on the content of electrons protons and neutrons in the air and the composition of atoms it's passing. the question is, given the inherent traits of each type of plasma scientifically, which would be the heavier damage dealer? fire is hot, it can burn it can leave lasting damage and staying in a fire for too long can kill you (though to be honest it's breathing the smoke that kills you first) but the fire is just as capable of roasting you alive if it happens to have a strong gust of wind come fuel it. but not given such a wind fire deals damage over time with an initial lasting damage from the intial shock to the body in temperature change. Electricity is actually hotter than fire. Go ahead make a big bonfire on the beach. it takes a pretty big one to see any glass form in the sand and only in the middle of the fire and only after a long time (20 to 30 minutes). electric on the other hand, one quick strike turns stones and sand to glass. it's been rated at over 4000 kelvin. to be fair it's not the electricity itself which carries the heat, its the electrons coursing through it in an incredibly dense stream that when they pass through the target they force the sudden speedy relocation of billions of electrons, where electron motion causes atom motion which causes heat. Conductive surface or not there will typically be some lingering arcs of electricity after such a strike. while a person can sometimes walk away from being struck by lightning or shocked by a live wire, it's far less likely than say a fireman dying from fire. even without equipment people survive in burning buildings. in fact it's usually not the fire that kills people it's the lack of oxygen in the air or falling debris. so to be fair, electricity should have higher initial damage than fire blasting. and some decreasing DoT. where as fire should have less initial damage but steady DoT over a longer period. both sap end, but in physics all this is is taking away your energy to respond. Fire does this by forcing your body to slowly and gradually lose energy due to lack of oxygen and heat buildup. electricity gives a sudden shock which typically makes people frozen in place and trying to figure out what happened but quickly recover, so it's more of a stun than an end drain. people can still move after getting shocked by electricity, it's more of the shock reaction that makes people take quick breaths and step back. So if I had to say what would be the difference in end drain I'd say it's the manner in which they are applied: Fire end drain; slow over time. Electric end drain: sudden short lived not very powerful drain but high chance for stun. We are not trying to turn electric blasting into fireblasting, they will be statistically different and it's powers will be different in the way they strike. all we are doing here is revisiting a very early powerset and giving it some much needed restoration given all the numerous things it could have had that were not available at it's conception. such as chain attacks. keep in mind MANY power sets were revisited and statistically boosted or statistically nerfed during Live. electric blasting... for some reason got ignored. probably cause so few people used it because it was weaker than other sets. I think most people gave up on it rather than complained so the devs never really got the message from the player base that it needed any changes and they most certainly wouldn't nerf it because it wasn't overpowered. So it largely remained unchanged after all these years.
  9. It would have a vague similarity, the same way in which energy blasting is similar. The difference would be in the presentation. Such as chain, stun (electric shock) and Dot where fire blasting lacks stun. also the powers themselves will be different in intensity and order of acquisition with some electric only caveats. this makes it different enough. for example we are discussing decreasing DoT over time and intensity build-up effects, fire has pretty straight forwards smooth DoT the same value till the burn wears off. but electric DoT hits with a little less each second and typically lasts a shorter time dealing much higher DoT in short order rather than fire's small amounts of DoT over a long time. This is a good idea instead of End drain have each attack make the next one more effective on that target. It's something to consider. I'm guessing Electric blasting came about real early and hasn't been touched or even updated since conception. There are lots of new abilities it could and should benefit from. The question is, what do we do with powers that are replaced in the fashion I suggest for Short Circuit? if this were my MMO idea I'd do level tiering have both options available at the same level but make it so the user can only pick one of them. or just replace it entirely and dust our hands off. As it rightly should be, electricity has that tendency to jump around, arc, and generally shock everything in the vicinity of the strike zone. should be an AoE specialist and it would seem to me that after electric blasting's conception the devs agreed with this concept as they progressed forwards and made electric melee, electric control and electric assault they are all rather AoE heavy. Just one note I must specify, I often have to correct my English students when talking about game terminology and abbreviations and acronyms, D.P.S. stands for "Damage Per Second", some foolish mortals over in WoW and LoL who didn't know that thought it was somehow synonymous for "Damage dealer P.S." and too many English lessons for foreign language students call things like a brute, blaster, warrior/berserker or whatever you call it "A DPS" as if "DPS" to them is some sort of noun term embodiment of the archetype rather than a term to describe a number rating the potential to deal damage over time averaged by second. I do believe you are using it correctly but I thought I'd float that point. I believe the confusion started when one of these foolish mortals over-read a chat conversation where someone said "I have good DPS" where DPS is used correctly as a noun to describe the number of damage per second being good, then they misinterpreted it and made a similar character and said "now I have a DPS too" which is incorrect usage. every character has "a DPS rating".
  10. Absolutely! lets go with that! make a few changes and buff it for damage, taking away some of it's end mod ability and trading it for proportionate damage.
  11. Back when the game was live under paragon studios my first and foremost toon was an electric energy blaster... after years of trying to make it work, I realized that for a DAMAGE CENTRIC AT, DAMAGE was NOT the strong point of this set.. at all. even when enhanced for damage. it's pitiful. It's only saving grace is it can sap things to maybe prevent some attacks but you have to run a bit to make that work again it's only somewhat protected. the problem here should be obvious, blasters primary sets should be about damage DoT, and things like regen debuff. end drain should be a much less quantified secondary ability. half the end drain, double the damage! seriously "moderate damage" should not be the phrase you see for the majority (5 of 9) of the attacks on a ranged damage set on a damage centric AT.. it should be something like 2 to 3 moderate, 3 to 4 high, 1 self buff, and the rest "extreme" to "superior", granted the set already has 2 extreme damage attacks but only 1 High damage and... what the actual.. "no"? there is an attack [tesla cage] with minor.. MINOR damage? seriously? on a ranged damage AT?! [Short Circuit] while good as a hail mary last ditch survival effort for if you get ambushed, a melee PBAOE attack on a ranged set is.. kinda silly cause it forces you to get close to death. I mean that's what your secondaries are for! I suggest replacing this attack with some sort of ranged AOE or chain or both attack. This could be it. a Ranged Chain power. much like a ranged higher damage version of the electric melee [Chain Induction], in the melee set it's moderate damage, on the blaster set it should be high damage. why not chain + damage over time? where the initial damage is high and the damage decreases over time. so yeah I agree with Galaxy brain, there needs to be some sort of change to this set. why back in the days I played this toon, I noticed that my attacks did nothing to purple con enemy's health bars.. even when IOed. others attacks would take away 10% to 50% in a single hit, but.. electric blasting? why are you even..? at least you're trying, don't feel bad. oh hah now you're on the floor.. In fact to make it work as damage I had to rely on my secondary and buff with pool powers to blap. This should not happen. These are suggestions based on years of experience trying to fix it with enhancements and bonuses. hint it's still below what an average non damage centric toon will do with basic enhancements. so will the devs help with this? what do other players think?
  12. all in good time, bt we need to rally more support behind the idea. whatever story or situation we get dinos in, first we need to get the devs interested in it, they'll be more inclined to consider putting in the effort the more players are interested, so tell your friends. to be truthful, for parallel universe ideas I can't help thinking about Turok's Lost Valley. But for us it'd be a world effected by several Paragon groups. yeah there'd be dinos as the world's basis, probably giant poisonous maneating plants too. then, well, ancient tribal peoples, probably some Banished Pantheon and Circle of Thorns, and the rikti invasion would have been a partial success. partial as in, they would have invaded successfully but probably not liked what they saw, so there'd probably be a rikti outpost and the mothership would have moved on. Shivans would have invaded but probably been eaten by the poisonous man eating plants (possible answer for fixing Galaxy City). Circle and Banished pantheon and a few unlucky people would have gotten there through portals (some intentional, and some random rifts in dimension that a hapless paragonian stumbled through as they took a shortcut down a dark alley on some fateful night). Nictus, They need intelligent lifeforms so, if the banished pantheon and circle came later, that would imply there were no valid hosts for the nictus 2000 years ago and they probably would have glanced over earth and passed up the opportunity. Could have some unique groups to the area other than just dinos. but lets focus on the reptiles first. Edit: hamidon, probably would'nt have had to reason to come about. besides as far as I know the monster used to be human. so hamidon probably wouldn't be there. doesn;t mean the paragon hamidon wont try to get there.
  13. mounts. super vehicles. yeah I've had that idea before, but it'd be a lot of work to implement it. still I have to agree with you. t-rex, triceratops ankylosaurus stegasaurus all valid chaos causers on the streets. don't mind me I'm just blocking traffic with my brontosaurus, he's out for walkies.
  14. Magic origin dino; a spirit of a long dead dino was recovered with with the help of a time record stabilizing tome which allowed them to peice together one whole dinosaur spirit from the decay of the netherworld or limbo. using magic stones and fossils and reptile blood and a giants heart they were able to summon the spirit to a new and improved form. Mutation: Chickensaurus-rex genetic reversion. Oops .. it got loose. .. oh crap.. he didn't! nemesis got ahold of him!? Science: this new chemical element allows us to heal even fossilized stones by filling in the gaps and creating cellular structures to mimic what would be necessary to run the organism, we have begun testing this on recently extinct species that could benefit the ecosystem and oh no supervillains are here to steal it and what dino fossils! NOOOOOO! Technology: Techasaurus rex. Natural: yep.. thats a dino. amazing it's still alive and unevolved after all this time, lets take it back and show it off in the circus, what could go wrong with that?
  15. Except they aren't dinosaurs in the context we are talking about here. No more so than old out-of-touch people are also described as dinosaurs. While it would be nice to see some oversized monster pigeons and seagulls, squirrels and the like messing with paragon city, pigeons with the [pigeon poop] attack power.. they aren't visually stimulating in the same way a 50 ft T-rex is. why cimerora them in when we can build the lore tie-ins? why are the heroes and villains going there? yadda yadda make some story for how a villain group there or in paragon wants to do a dinosaur invasion of atlas park and grandville and or how that group doesn't play nice OR how they can be exploited and stolen from.. are these devouring earth? we've seen enough of those... I mean big mean reptiles with claws and teeth and tails. Doesn't mean that the DE couldn't get ahold of some dinos and modify and outfit them though! what kinda story arcs? good question, define: Magic Mutation Science Technology Natural fairly easy with a wild imagination 😛
  16. I'd buy that too, I know they did have to hire someone to do the monster designs in new Dark Astoria. that was right about the same time as beast mastery so. it's a valid guess. I know they did make the villain version of the hive in image of isla nubular of jurassic park. but again no dinos. besides if they did that "I think George Lucas gunna sue somebody" is a phrase that applies here even though it's really "Steven Speilburg gunna sue somebody", but that was never a Movie trope.. So If I had to guess, like all real decisions it probably came down to a number of factors, yours included. but now, now we are not burdened by profit expectations of a large for profit company so, time is in our hands to dev what we will, or rather what the devs will allow. I will offer free help (volunteer) if this gets accepted, I can offer 3D modelling and texturing, maybe not rigging or animating though. would like to smash a t-rex's jaw to the ground on a tanker or brute though. or get a team of KB and see a shocked reaction as they go flying... good times imagined for the future.
  17. yeah, island not continent. but yeah I get what you are saying. the continent would be split up into sub zones within the domes. because the rest of it is too deep under water for most heroes or villains to reach. need the domes for people to breathe. there could be 1 main zone and then sub zones which are mission maps and nothing more.
  18. We have long requested a dinosaur Zone, but every time we did the paragon studios staff decided not to make it then just named a new enemy something "dinosaurish", "Jurassik" comes to mind. this needs to change. I think the core reason they never did it is because they didn't want to copy other stories of "lost worlds" or "hot spots" or "dino parks" where dinosaurs remained alive on earth or were brought back to life. so, at the very least we can come up with some ideas of how dinosaurs could have survived on earth and may still survive today, or if we can't do that we could write it off to a parallel dimension where the extinction event never happened and evolution largely stopped. Staying in our own universe: On primal earth there is one place dinosaurs could still exist, a place no one else has ever used in fantasy, Cryptid research on dinosaurs always has one thing in common, they are always found in or around water sources, lakes, rivers, seas, the ocean. Add this to the strange noises scientists and navy have recorded underwater (http://www.messagetoeagle.com/mysterious-unexplained-sounds-coming-from-the-ocean-what-is-really-down-there/) (check out Julia, that sounds like a dino to me, sounds like he's saying "why'd you bother me, I was here first! it's mine! get away!" in grunt language. then the slow down, "yaaaaaaaawwwwwn..") which sound very dinosauric, add that to the scientific fact that the tyrannosaurus rex and many other larger dinosaurs, could not actually run on land or they'd break their bones (this implies they probably spent the majority of their time mostly submerged in water for the added buoyancy). now lets take a look at the animals physiology; they have tiny little brains. and massive torsos. something here should seem amiss if you know a bit about medicine. massive torso means massive lungs. massive lungs means massive amounts of oxygen getting into the blood stream. massive amounts of oxygen in the blood stream would be toxic to such a tiny brain. they'd literally die from breathing on land. but, in the depths of the ocean, there is very little oxygen in the water, so suddenly those massive lungs and that tiny brain make sense together, they'd be a primitive amphibious lung and dinosaurs would live at the bottom of the ocean! 90% of the worlds oceans are unexplored. sounds like a perfect fantasy for a Super hero MMO. So then why do we have dinosaur bones on land? you know buried in layers of sediment on the sides of mountains? rock layers are laid down by water. It's very possible that the earth was a water world in the past. That or maybe it was the underwater alien base that fitted the dinos with equipment so they could control their breathing and anti gravity devices so they could walk above water and tried to lead an invasion and were defeated by the ancient humans? but they are building up thier resources to try again? paragons heroes ad the rogue isles alike must unite to stop this menace! By the way conspiracy theorists say the underwater aliens have some sort of connection with the Nazis and have a main base somewhere under Antarctica, some say these "extra terrestrials" are actually "terrestrials" the former ancient people of the earth before us and that they were giants with six fingers and toes and double rows of teeth.. these are all modern conspiracy theories which have yet to be adapted to media. check out the "upsweep" sound in the unexplained sounds under the ocean above, sounds pretty much like a siren on a space ship to me. maybe spring and autumn is their drill practice time? or maybe they launch all fighters at this time? where could they live? the sunken continent "Mu" found in the middle of the pacific ocean. less of a conspiracy theory and looking more like a lost and unknown history, Mu was a continent with it's main mass being close to japan and a tail of mountains stretching like a bridge all the way to south america (giving a possible route for human migration after the ice age) Mu has several ranges of sedimentary mountains called the Mu Alps (I'm not joking this is really a theory and real name) these mountains even today show telltale signs of *Shock* Glaciation. carved out ridges run down their slopes. This would mean they were above water sometime after the ice age when the glaciers started to melt and run down the mountains. but now... the peaks of the mu alps are 2000 meters below sea level. must a been quite the catastrophe. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mu_(lost_continent) so, lets say they've got a dome down there a big underwater dome with volcanoes, nazis, giants and UFOs and dinosaurs. sounds like a fun party to crash! oh wait they do have domes, multiple. one of them is 2miles wide. and apparently it moves along the ocean floor.. https://mysteriousuniverse.org/2017/03/massive-circular-object-appears-to-move-on-pacific-floor/ mission doors anyone?
  19. got the badge through ouro. didn't even recognize the mission map, possible that it gave me a different map before by accident?
  20. So I have completed all missions from Maria Jenkins and did not receive Shrouded badge. (so no portal jockey for me.) https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Shrouded_Badge After further investigation; I came to the conclusion that the mission which awards the badge Disrupt Nightstar's ritual no longer exists, heck it's even removed from the list of Maria Jenkins missions. There is no such mission by name. the closest is "Take down Nightstar", was this a replacement? why does it not award the badge? there seems to be another mission which is supposed to use the same map and thus award the badge, however that mission appears to involve rikti in their base so I doubt it's the same map and doubt it awards the badge. besides I'd have to do a big string of missions to get to that one.. so.. what am I missing? on the wiki it says you have to stay on the nightstar map for any amount of time and if not it'll give you shrouded on exit. is there a specific amount of time I need to be on map? if so how long? otherwise how can I get this badge? Edit; I'm going to reattempt to get the badge through ouro (if I can).
  21. as I said they seem to be casting these abilities more than I remember. as I said likely it has to do with enemies not defaulting to either ranged or melee etc. they are switching and using either as available. Whereas on live most foes would default to melee after their ranged powers are on recharge, then forget they had ranged powers or summons. Now however the AI just pops whatever power is recharged regardless of it being ranged or melee, in effect making the game harder. Agro; 2 enemies total, one each from a different spawn point, tag #1, #2 walks away, tag #2, #1 walks away. -broken + random, only happens on certain groups certain times with no forseeable reason. other times I'll step in a group and apply taunt and a blaster comes and hits them and they all ignore me and kill the blaster. even going so far as to run away from me to murder the blaster. whats worse is they seem to come back as if walking back to their spawn point as if they forgot I was there. sometimes they wont follow because they'd rather stand and fight someone who does not have taunt or holds.. I'm gonna take some videos of it and show. it's ridiculous. it happens often enough to record just gotta tag a group to see how they'll react. sometimes I can achieve like 20 agro cap, sometimes more like 15 or 10. othertimes I'm lucky to keep 1 on me (even without team members to distract them). that's why I brought this up, there's definitely an inconsistency (probably a bug) in the agro cap.
  22. several players including myself have noticed differences in game mechanics since a few patches ago. enemies will not taunt just by a tank being present. Enemies will forget the tank and attack others even when the tank does not exit the group. enemies forget the tank and walk back to spawn points if the tank attempts to merge certain groups. (I verify it even happens with 2 enemies total one from each group.) the only solution is to use an actual taunt power to attract the other (they seem to lose sight of me after just a couple meters. this is ridiculous as I only have one stealth power and did not enhance it for stealth., edit, it even happened without stealth on) The agro cap seems to be random. sometimes I can only pull a hand full and they immediately go back to the spawn point if I go anywhere near other groups. other times I can merge 2 and 3 groups of enemies on x8... what is going on here? we have also noticed debuffs are much stronger than before. another note: carnies were never that hard back on live. it's like some powers that were formerly never/rarely cast by CPU enemies on live are now cast at a MAXIMUM rate. I suspect it may have to do with the AI modifications a few patches back. For example on live it was rare to see any carnie master illusionists cast summon:dark servant. Now they summon it as soon as it recharges without fail, whereas dark ring mistress seems to be using a lot of debuffs and saps end worse than a malta sapper! I never remember her having that kinda effect. It could be I just never played them solo on live so I was used to teams, but even teams are struggling with carnies now even have people ditching missions if they see it's 54 carnies, instant quit team.. I suspect it's the AI changes that are causing them to not default to a fighting style. this means they cast anything and everything which makes them tougher. these are my observations. I could just be complaining about nothing, maybe I misremembered when it comes to debuffs, but something is definitely wrong with the agro system. if a tank jumps in the middle of a group of enemies; they gang up on the tank, and the tank runs to a group next door, they should at least try to follow? not go attack the next nonpresence teammate that's approaching! if I had to guess I'd say the agro cap is cycling targets; lets say you hit the cap and enter another group, the next group immediately agros and the amount of that group that agro is subtracted from the first group sending that many of the first group casually strolling back to their spawn points (or attacking teamates). But then again this is random sometimes it works as normal where the next group triggers but does not agro. the question is why is it only acting this way sometimes? but yeah when you can't merge 1 enemy with another single enemy group something is busted... I don't know, maybe they had an argument?
  23. I think you can still get them in sirens call. but yeah one way or another we do need a debuff res inspiration. any of these ideas are good. add it to an existing inspiration thats already on the drops tables or revamp an old insp and add it in to the drop tables or make a new insp. any of these would work.
  24. thankyou. yes you are right I didn't understand those 2 elements. so yeah 100% basically cuts the recharge time in half then. yep and some groups have more than others, typically on x8 every group of arachnos has 3 or 4 recharge debuffer psychics. actually that's another solution. maybe breakfrees need to add debuff resistance.
  25. not arguing, adding to your point, maybe certain builds or certain powerset combinations can benefit from hasten. others could benefit more from the extra slot or an extra primary or secondary power + recharge IOs more. so if I had to guess maybe some powerset combos need hasten? I would also guess some ATs need hasten a lot more than others. for example my dominator back on the old servers probably didn;t need hasten, nothing got near him even without it, kill everything at a distance hold, sleep, mez, confuse and immobilize style. tankers? yeah.. most tank builds I've made require hasten. without it you're just too up close and personal to too much agro and debuff, gotta kill the thing that debuffs you fast. but yeah I do not agree that all builds NEED hasten.
