Hi all, new costume time for Repsol Racer, Elec/SD Speedster Stalker. Was struggling a bit with him at lvl 17, just couldn't get interested in him. But a new shiny costume has fixed all that, it's all about the threads 😆 Thanks for looking.

I've mentioned before that I'm a big fan of 2000ad and all the associated titles like Judge Dredd, ABC Warriors, Rogue Trooper etc, and a lot of my characters are very much inspired by 2000ad, some purposely, some subconsciously. But, I've never created a successfull Judge Dredd type character, as he's such an iconic figure, I never felt I could get it right, the costume, the feel of megacity one, any of it. Then the other day I'm thinking, I've never really explored Praetoria, even when we were on live, I started 1 or 2 characters there but never really explored with them and they got deleted. So I decided it was time for a Judge to seriously explore all that is Praetoria, and Judge Mercy was born! 😂. To mark the occasion I've collected up all my 2000ad inspired dudes.

Can anyone tell me why this mission exists? It's a mission you get at around level 9... in Boomtown... kill 10 purple clockworks... at level 9... why? If you so much as google Boomtown at level 9, you die instantly. If you even hear someone mention Boomtown at level 9, you spontaneously combust. Why is this stupid mission there?

Hey guys, another day, another alt 😂. This is prehaps the simplest costume I've designed, but I just feel it doesn't need any more. He's a real blast to play 👍. Doctor Blackstar - Dark/Fire Dom. Dr. Lucas Balthazar was making a respectable name for himself in the field of physical cosmology and astronomy with his groundbreaking work on Dark Energy and it's place in the universe. However whilst attempting to build a model to accurately measure the cosmic microwave background, Dr. Balthazar created a minute dark energy core within his brain, and was transformed into, Doctor Blackstar!

Greetings all, I have returned yet again after another break, just can't keep away... As always a return means a new alt, and suprisingly it's not a robot! Mindblast - Psi/Rad Stalker. After being bitten by a radioactive butterfly, Viv Blumenheim found she could become invisible and blast bad guys with raw psychic power just like a normal, erm, butterfly... ahem.

Ok, I think this is as close as it'll get. I've never struggled with such a simple costume before, but I just could not get that golden age feel right. It's still not perfect, needs shorts rather than briefs and long sleeves, but hey ho, it's not possible. I think you're right about the belt, I might lose it altogether. I wish there was an option for briefs that were more like shorts too, like you get with bare legs, and sleeves that met up with short gloves, that would help the look 🙂.

I use the windows 10 game bar (win key + g) to record screen, then either giphy.com to make GIFs, or VLC videolan to compress mp4's into small files.

It's one of the steampunk belts I believe, female only.

I like this, we're just trugging through the whole series of The Expanse and I'm getting a real protomolecule feel from this character 😉.

This brings me onto another patriot character of mine that I'm having trouble loving, Albion Hawk DP/MC Blaster. I like the name, I like the AT, but i'm just struggling with the costume. For me, the costume makes the character, it gives it a personality. Without it, or with a wrong costume the character just will not work for me and i'll lose interest. So Albion Hawk is a remake of one of my main Live characters, British Hero, a Rad/DP Speedster Defender, but the costume has just never worked for me: I've had a couple of attempts to redesign him and find the right genre for him, the first being my old Bristish Hero retro 50's costume, next a steampunk inspired costume, and then a pulp 30's type of look, but none of them gelled. I'm now playing with this 70's golden age era look, we'll see how it feels... AlbionHawk002.mp4 Let me know what you think, cheers guys 🙂

Hi all. Very chuffed to reach 50 with this guy the other day 🙂. Only my 4th 50, and the first of the new HC gang. (my other 3 50's were also my 50's from back on Live, so they don't count). Justice Jim WM/SD Brute, and a load of fun to play. His costume has been pretty consistant throughout because I just felt it fitted the character so well. It's very patriotic (British), Knightly, Strong, No frills, it just gets the job of dispensing Justice with a Giant Mallet, DONE... whilst wiping the blood and teeth off his shield, lol. That being said, I thought that getting to incarnate level deserved a more Godly outfit, so this is where he is now: My only thought is... he's lost the patriotic element, which has always been important. I'm wondering if I can somehow merge the two without a horrendous train wreck occurring. Watch this space, Jim's journey is not over folks! 😉 Thanks for looking.

Two new alts from me. I dabbled in Kheldians years ago on live but never really got enthused about them and they floundered in the mid teens, so lets try again ;). No real backstory as they're, um, Kheldians... The Eclipsed - Warshade, and Superio - Peacebringer. I wanted to go proper golden age with the PB, which will be his concept throughout, and he'll mostly be played human form (don't like the squid). However i'll probably change this costume asap as it's a little too marvel. Just wanted to get a feel for the look and era. The Warshade is going in a totally different direction with a sci-fi powered armour style and will be a combo of Human form and dwarf. Happy symbioting!
