None of the afformentioned stuff had so much as a close-to-curse in the message, and I've seen other posts for similiar for other servers, yet was told directly by staff that it breaks Rediquette to basically even link to or try to get people to engage with Homecoming, as the admin team sees it as "poaching members", which tbh is entirely ridiculous if the people the posts are marketed towards are already in homecoming.

"Poaching members" that is fresh coming from the people that when a newcomer ask about servers goes on and on about why HC is the worst choice and they should join x one instead, you would think by now they got over being banned (with reason) from the original private one.

They've recently stopped allowing people to post links or invites to their HC Guilds, and have begun autoremoving anything directly relative to in-game events and such in regards to HC. Moreover they intentionally do not have a homecoming dev, and from my convos, they just outright don't get along with HC as it stands at all, despite having the "homecoming" name in their banner.

It seems very likely that the Reddit mods of the main CoH discord, who are ONLY from other servers, have been working diligently to can Homecoming relative posts.

I got shadowbanned once cause mods kept reporting me to admins just for pointing out the "no inter server drama" rules to the crazy "Leo is evil" crowd, fun times.
Though for some it may seem redundant, the sub you made is a good thing, it was a necessary niche, thanks and keep it up!

Besides you running it and it being somewhere else…. How is it different/more better than using these forums???

To be fair, the forums are your personal lair, not sure everyone can handle you :P

*Bows** It makes me quite happy that people enjoy my story posts. It's the least I can do for a community I enjoy this much. I am just glad I seemed to have missed most of the drama on that Reddit.

Just now realized it was you because of the pic!

I have found people of the CoH subreddit to be pretty chill most of the time. I have been popping in there for many months now and EVRY rarely do I see anything off-putting

It has chilled quite a bit lately, back then it was just conspiracy nonsense about HC all day long, still, whenever a difference in views pertaining servers pops out, if you express anything favorable towards HC, the trolls hiding jump on you, and there is a chance one of the biased mods simply erases your stuff. Used to be quite involved there but got feed up and just watch stuff now and then, like Beyonda's amazing Stories from the Zones that collect heroes backstories and their costumes.

  6. While yes, in general the reddit experience is, to say the least, exhausting, It's great a specific sub is around just in case, trying to discuss Homecoming at large on the other sub is putting a target on your head, and some people do not use Discord or the forums.

  7. I am seeing enough forceful ways around where I am right now so was in the mood for a more chill and hands off approach, which would you say are the most fully dedicated supportive choices and combos? which the ones that manage a non violent approach? do those that make others instead engage, willingly or not, or weaken opponents, count? and if so which ones? is there a choice of character that bares little to no damage? Hit me (with your ideas).

Are support characters like controllers and defenders impactful on teams? It seems like in HC everyone can IO into a monster. So I wonder if buffs and debuffs and lockdowns are useful.

Maybe support characters are more useful in non-50 content? So if I wanted to be a pure support maybe i do not take support toons to extreme level 50 content. I dunno.

Anyhoo, I love being support and buffing the team.  I just do not want to feel useless 🙂

    Thanks for any advice.

The beauty of this game is that you can play absolutely anything, take any approach, engage in any way of playing it, and you can make it work, or even kick ass, so ignore the people that tells you you need to play this way or the other and pick this or that, even if they say it is for your own good (or specially if they say that, those are the ones that created the blaster rush teams issue, not to mention, if people complains about, looks down on, or vetoes your choice for a run, while it is their right of choice, they are not the best kind of player to tag along with anyway) that there is archetypes and powerset combos that function way, way better than others is true, that there are those that require way, way more work and investment put into them to make them viable is true too, but play what makes you happy or fulfills your vision for a hero/villain, if you play something you don't like you gonna get bothered soon enough, after that, you can decide how much you want to learn, dig around, grind for so you make your choice shine.

It's all in the delivery, really.  You don't walk up to someone and say, "when you wear that shirt tucked in, it makes you look fat."  However, you might say something like, "that's a cool shirt!  I usually wear mine untucked because my girlfriend says it makes me look thinner."

Or to put it in game context... you could say, "That's a cool costume and concept, but my girlfriend says defenders suck."

    Well your girlfriend sucks too!

  10. Never, it is annoying to receive it so I will not subject others to it, everyone has their view, and many like to stick with it, now, if you engage with someone in conversation during a run, get to know their approach, and are 100% sure you can improve their experience with a couple pointers, go ahead, anything besides that is being a nosy know it all, not to mention a large percentage of our population thinks they know all the ins and outs and has no clue in reality (or the social skills to convey it without sounding like an ass) which I am an absolute example of.

    Fun facts:

Volcanic Gases creates a pseudopet.  That pseudo pet has a target limit of 5.

VG creates 7 such pseudo pets.

Quicksand creates 1 pseudopet with a target limit of 16

Earthquake meanwhile creates 1 pseudopet with a cap of 10 targets

Conclusion: Earth's patches are not very consistent but that's potentially 61 foes in just under 7 seconds

What the hell and I never even batted an eye to Earth control O_O

Looking for any other Twitch streamers so we can give each other mutual follows!  Mine is twitch.tv/Evardia

I am a cosplayer who is also trying to grow her TikTok As well.  So earlier in the week the usual drunk Pinnacle jokes were made at the Hamidon raid and since I was in cosplay, I joked tonight they may get tipsy Rogue.  So tonight while live on my stream, I will do the Hamidon Raid, any TF or iTrials people want to start up, any casual play with either an alt on this server or the Evardia I am slowly leveling up on Indomitable with a twist.  Each time I have to hospital, I will take a shot.  So invite me, max that difficulty up and let's go!

Here you have several popping up.
