  1. Yes farm merits with TFs instead of farming inf from AE missions, basically this comes down to 'play the way I want to play'. I like TFs and dislike AE, so nerf the one until more people farm TFs for merits?
  2. I know from experience farming also creates a lot of salvage churn that gets put in the AH, without that steady stream the price of crafting recipes will go up, and the price of enhancements should go up as well. We saw that already with Yellow Salvage.
  3. At least they're out in the open with this inf change, the drop in Yellow Salvage availability hit the economy without any notification, or any still as far as I know. I didn't see a problem with farming or AH flipping, as one who did both, I monitored the pricing and except for weekend spikes, they had been stable for months. With the change to Yellow Salvage, prices are less stable, and availability of certain 'standard' enh became less and less, sometimes down to zero for Sting of the Mant or Mako's. This was not the behavior of the market in the months prior to Feb patch. I foresee more instability and availability of enhancements dropping as people stop farming as much, or converting as much. I guess time will tell, but heavy-handed market manipulation doesn't usually work.
  4. A couple weeks ago there may have been 500-600 bids on yellow salvage, since the price has gone sky high, there are now over 40,000 bids. It's definite market manipulation, but I'm starting to think the goal isn't to make money off yellow salvage, but rather stop people doing enhancement conversion. Since yellow salvage has gone up in price, there are less enhancements in the AH overall. It's definitely a weird time for the AH.
  5. I believe it's possible to 'fix' the uncommon market, you put in several hundred bids at 5,000, and put all your sales back in at 25,000 or so, then do the same at 10,000, and put them back in at 50,000, just keep doing something like that, but I think the returns are low enough it isn't worth it. You'd make several million here and there, I guess the effort is pretty low compared to crafting recipes etc, maybe that's the appeal?
  6. I also noticed a sharp jump in prices of salvage a couple weeks ago. It was mostly noticeable on Yellow salvage, so much so I credited the practice to someone I dubbed 'The Yellow Sphincter', and it seemed to be the work of a single person, as they were active before 8am and then after 4pm. The rates would go back to normal during the day. It seems a bit more random now, but there are times where I don't even try use the auction house... I know it's only a bump in the prices overall, but somehow I refuse to pay 3000 for white, 25,000+ for yellow, let alone 800,000 for orange. I'll jump on some farms instead, even though its less efficient at gaining you inf, at least I get recipes and salvage for free. Curse you Yellow Sphincter!
  7. Thanks Darkir, your take on it is giving me something to try out! Although I do like having a travel power, even with all the jet packs etc from the P2W vendor.
  8. Thanks! I am thinking of thisdarkkin.mxd for a build but would welcome any input. 🙂 Inf is no object.
  9. Has anyone ever tried a Dark/Kin corruptor? I haven't seen any builds for this type of corruptor and was wondering if anyone had played one or had some ideas on how a build should look? Thanks for any help or guidance!
