  1. The problem is keeping the ninjas alive. :( Much easier if you can buff them in some way.
  2. Hello all: I'm attempting to re-create a character from the Live Servers from all those years ago. My build back then had Aid Other/Aid Self, but I don't recall how useful they were. The build posted below removes those powers and opts for Repair and Assault. The other benefit of this is that it allows powers to be slotted sooner to when they are acquired, and Vengeance enters the build at 30 instead of 40+. Should I go back to Aid Other? If I do, shouldn't I take Field Medic? And aid self as a pre-req? No experience with Field Medic at all, as I don't recall it being in the game! ??? What do I drop to fit those things in? (I can post the old build if that would help for comparison, but I was trying to avoid "spamming" the thread.) Opinions are welcome on this power-swapping decision and the build in general. Thank you. Hero Plan by Mids' Hero Designer 1.962 http://www.cohplanner.com/ Click this DataLink to open the build! 3. Thank you for doing this. :) Would you say that this build is appropriate for someone [like myself] who is mainly interested in using squid/lobster and powers that enhance those forms or contribute to their use? (PvE and mostly grouping)
  4. I might actually roll a PB if these changes were implemented. I had an idea where a Rikti and a Kheldian fused, but I couldn't make it work, mechanically. /signed
  5. Is there any logic in playing Energy/Dark Armor? Because it seems like the mobs would be constantly out of range of your auras due to all the knockback. (There's a concept that I'm trying to make happen). And don't you have to be near the enemy to use the self-heal?
  6. Just a brief bit of background. I started in Issue 6 shortly after Enhancement Diversification (ED) was implemented, and played until server shutdown. I was a regular on the forums. I have played all Archetypes, however Stalker is the one with which I have had the least experience (although Dominator was a close second). I had a Stalker character on the Live Servers that I'm attempting to recreate here. The concept, which was/is important to me, was sort of a Poseidon-type character, wielding a trident [because of course he does.] Seeing as the game lacks "water armor", I went with /Ice instead. Other than the character on live, which only reached perhaps level 10, I have never used either of these powersets before. I have a rough idea of how to slot them, but I'm looking for suggestions to improve the build. I've read people asking about "budget." Little to none is my answer. This is my first character on Homecoming. I've slotted basic IO's for the sake of clarity. Hero Plan by Mids' Hero Designer 1.96 http://www.cohplanner.com/ Click this DataLink to open the build! I've decided not to mess with invention sets for now, because I feel that is a very long term goal that I might never reach. I am open to switching the armor set if there is a compelling reason to do so. However, as I mentioned, there is a concept that I am trying to fulfill. Thank you. Edit: It looks like the powersets have changed slightly, which I failed to notice until now. What are people using for hero planners these days?
