Best thing I did was play some of the content, leave Preatorian, rapidly get to 50 and go back via ouro and run all the story arcs in praetoria. Some badges can only be won by doing all the arcs.

For the morality missiions, 5 choices for a badge as I recall, and also a badge for choosing resistance and one for choosing loyalist.  Run them via ouroborus twice to see all the outcomes.

Avid reader if you miss it, become an incarnate and run through one of the itrials then talk to Prometheus until the badge dings

Thanks.  Really thought you had to get them while there.  I will still get every badge I can before leaving Praetorian. Not in any hurry to 50.  I have one incarnate already I am working to max out.  This is my relaxed badger

  2. I have started my first Badger.  For better or worse have chosen Dark/Dark Brute.

I loaded into tutorial and received the Avid Reader badge.  I did all the locations and plaques in Nova and the Protest Badge

i have never tried for every badge before.  What badges do I HAVE to do in Praetoria before I leave and how do I go about it?

    thanks for the help

  3. Thanks.  I have tried the dragging and rechecked spelling errors.  I am guessing it is the underscores.  I started wondering about that last night actually as I was keybinding a new alt in Praetorian and was like why are there underscores in the first part of the pow exec name but not the rest.  Will try this tonight.  It is the judgement t3 might partial radial or something. Will be t4 it asap as this is my main and I have weeks of grinding to ULTIMATE power lol

  4. All great info thanks. I love  the City community and this old game lol.  My other game is WoW.  Which I mostly solo on. For obvious reasons.  Will take the great advice into consideration as I shop

  5. I am getting a new tower because I can. Do not want to overspend but want to make sure I can crank every graphic setting and get through a Ritki raid with no lag.  I am just like that

i am looking at something like cyberpower pc gamer extreme vr. Is there any hardware  floors I should make sure I get?   I am a truck driver not a computer builder. Thanks

  6. I am very new to keybinds but I am doing them moderately successfully

my my current problem is this. I tried to keybind my upgraded incarnate judgement and the game tells me it does not recognize the power. It recognized the Might Judgement power but does not recognize Mighty Partial Radial Judgement

any help would be great thanks

  7. Dark Armor is better on a Brute then a scrapper or tank in my opinion. Fury feeds the AoE and the high health works well with DA mechanics. Tankers lose the damage as well as many of the Dark Armor powers do not work well with holding agro. As a brute DA you pull as much agro as you want and are almost hiding until you are ready to eat more.

  8. I am no expert but I have run some Dark Armor.  Dark Armor is of course slightly stronger in a Brute.  The higher health gives the big heal more power

the danger with Dark Armor is bottoming out the endurance. That is why it is generally paired with Dark Melee or Elec Melee for endurance recovery and management

  9. Thanks Hyperstrike.  I get lost on really high end builds and you are a name I recognize from way back on live as a gnarly builder.  This varies a lot from what I normally do with reactive armors and attacks slotted chase 45 s/l and then throw on w/e.  I will go with this build as written rather than try to tweak something I am not skilled at.   Appreciate the help.  Have a great time in the cities

  10. After a couple month pause for WoW I am back. I am writing a short story based on a Rogue from the Rogue Isles and needed to run the character to get into the mood

The build is SS/Invul. I am looking for just a super tough build  very tanky.

I have stripped all all my sets from my characters and have all the high end procs for res def heal red etc.  LOTGs Brutes Fury Preventative Med and about 3-4 other high end sets.  Can get more.  I have about 20 mil in bank and generate nearly 100 merits a day doing low end TFs regularly. So please feel free to put anything on the build

any help would be great. I still can’t get mids to work lol. I am more grinder than builder.  At level 40 now will 50 this weekend and start incarnate

have fun fun in the cities

  11. This thread got me thinking about how much I wanted Blasters for villains.  No healing no buffing just blasting. So I just made a Dark/Dark blaster for Rogue work. Not my favorite blaster but it will be a concept project for being a villain. Thanks for the inspiration. I will probably learn more about blapping too

  12. So I have run maybe a dozen Sentinels through teens to low 30s.  When I grind alts like I been doing I tend to be very regular about how I do it 4-7 DFB 1-4 DiB maybe banks.  On Sentinels that is not often. Some random teaming and a very regular Posi 1 Posi 2 Synapse etc.

i am a daily grinder in CoX but not a numbers scientist like Arcana or Hyperstrike. I play and go by feel.  My feelings tell me that the mez protection from the armors Sentinels get is not as strong as scrappers or brutes. Does anyone know for sure?  And if so are there standard fixes most use like procs or tune of protection or...

thanks. I really like Sentinels for when I step away from Bruting for a day or so

  13. Thank you. It does bring up an interesting question. Is Rune of Protection worth taking?  During regular content I very rarely remember struggling with any type of mez on Invul. Once in a while a Succubus will be vexing but I normally quick craft a break free.

During incarnate trials there are incarnate powers that provide mez protection for the league. I might take Rune on a Sentinel but not sure about on a brute

  14. The topic at hand is a highly opinionated and perhaps pseudo science examination of what is arguably the most powerful AT to incarnate. Some might actually have real data as well but that service is not guaranteed in all areS

personally I believe it is Brutes. I have always believed them to be the strongest all around AT in the game pre 50 and at 50. The AT does high damage and has high survivability due to armor and defenses. That alone puts it a step ahead of Tanks for example. Tanks have slightly better survivability and do significantly less damage.  In a straight up comparison Brutes are better than Tanks. Before I start (another) war I am not trash talking tanks. They can do things Brutes cannot. If I was a Blaster and had a choice for a two person team partner I would choose the Tank over the Brute. All other things being equal same armor same player the Tank would be more beneficial to work with

But the discussion is not about who the Blaster would pick. It is about what AT makes the strongest Incarnate. And that might be Tank!  I believe Brutes would be better but if Incarnate powers do enough damage to tighten tanks closer to Brutes then tanks might be the stronger incarnate

so. What do you guys think?

  15. I have two 50s now woot!  My first one is the DM/Inv and is the one I plan on doing most of my end game content for the next month or two as I knock off the rust. I feel this is the strongest build for me. I enjoy it and it allows me to keep an eye on the mission flow rather than micromanage character actions

i ran a few DM Invul back on live. My strongest was a high recharge build that I think was posted by Leandro or Hyperstrike or another really smart high end grinder. I was amazed how vicious the build was and did some insane stuff in it

i have my first incarnate shift.  I took agility for the Alpha.  This was suggested for the benefits of defense to invulnerability. It also  gives global recharge which builds right back into the high recharge benefits to DM/Inv.

I chose Diamagnetic and Void as the next two incarnate powers. I want to push the Dark bonuses both because I feel they are strong and cool. The character concept is magic undead.

Any suggestions for incarnate powers are appreciated. Any suggestions on build would be appreciated too even if it is just recommending sets to slot. The new sets are not included on the Paragon wiki and I will need to mess around on builder to piece out a build. I am definitely a better grinder than I am a character designer. I just enjoy running content

my basic build goals are softcap s/l def and then s/l res cap and energy res cap. A good amount of recharge would also be nice

it is relatively easy to grind enhancer sets for me because I love to grind so much. So any suggestions can include high end enhancer procs and sets. I of course include all the great procs already as well as Brute Sets.  Not even sure if I can slot the superior as well as the regular sets or if I should. Again very rusty and just getting back into it plus new stuff

    thank you for any input

I use KM/WP on my main and find that both of these pair up well for a spellcaster concept. KM is pretty close to MCU magic.

Really glad I saw this just as I was in character creator.  I. Caked up and changed from tech robot to magic undead and was happier as I ran the character.  Yes. Jazz hands.  And magic
