Currently enjoying my BS/Shield Stalker. I never have a "Favorite" I have my top 3 Favorite ATs to play: Spiders, Masterminds, & Controllers. But when it comes to Power setup, it's what I'm in the mood to play is what I'm in the mood to play. Personally prefer Tanks & Stalkers. If I'm going play Melee. While I do have some Scrappers and like 4 Brutes, 2 are long retired. Other two are 50 & decked out, but I haven't done 50 content with them yet, not high on my list atm.

Blaster Melee attacks are stronger then their ranged attacks. Simple fact, your forgoing safety of range attacks, kiting, flying, etc.. To get up in middle of all AoE, PBAOE, & strong melee attacks to deal damage. So they have to hit hard to try drop stuff fast & hard.

Gold is harder then say Blue. Most folks just stick to Blue. It's easy(Face roll easy). Least on my server, most players rather sit on a farm or 50 group and get PL'd. Having someone else play the game for them. From easy to harder for it's level range: Blue, Red, Gold. (Though red can spike over gold with stuff like say Goldbrickers & Longbow). Gotta realize, your facing stuff that you normally wouldn't see at specific levels. Lvl 1 alone, your already facing Energy & Psionic attacks. With lots of Mez & AOE. So you decide we'll I'll team up. That just means more of that. Well, lets make optimal team. Say 4 man team of a Tank, Mastermind, Controller, & a Corrupter. Doesn't matter what you bring, at those levels, it's going be hard. From Explosions, CC, Dmg types you don't normally face at lower levels on Blue. (Though Red is very well aware of that). The mobs AI is a bit better in it's cycling of attacks. They'll actually run away and try bring friends back, etc.. Ghouls...man...Pack Tactics is their foray. If your not paying attention and just smacking away, not understand why stuff not dropping or as fast as you like. Probably a Painted One hiding in there healing & Buffing. Many mobs make use of Leadership buffs inherent. Even if you have decked out 50s, Mal' downed with n00b leader, forking out missions. It's still going have rough patches.

Newest Mid's still opens up mxd files. Not enough of those have changed in game. Both should work just fine.

Seems you keep picking every build NOT on there. I'm fairly certain since that's not maintained. I've done those builds before(including others) Past that point. So these 3, I think overall are as close as you requests. Without sacrificing to much of your Resist, protections, and output. You also have 0 KB protection options. Since FA has no KB protection, there a lot of factors that need to go into a build. I have to think of all options. Your slotting is odd. In places that don't make sense.

Never said it was not possible. I explained that he's asking for a very hard situation. I've still been tooling around, I know what I am doing btw.

Also your Mid's is outdated. Current is 3.6.6, to get that version. You need to scrub old Mid's off your system. Then go DL new one, cuz they rebuilt it.

Fire Armor is a Resist set...Your playing a Ranged Set. So many of the Recipes don't off S/L/M defense buffs.
