Energy/Energy blaster builds

I have seen a lot of builds for various archetypes out there but not so many blaster builds and not a single energy/energy. Are they so rare? My guy is only 38 so will probably respec once I get to 50. I know there are a couple of good ranged damage set, but anything that works in Energize and Buildup?

Pretty sure I saw a good one in the "guide" section.

Energy/Energy is great! 

Especially if you learn to use the knockback well. I think Fly/hover is a must to change the angles.

Energy/energy blaster is my go to. They are more limited on aoe attacks. They get exploding shot, energy torrent, and Nova. Where they really shine is as boss killers. The sniper shot paired with the energy punch, will take down just about anything in a few shots if they’re slotted right proper. They are total glass cannons though.
