Hi all. I'm a returning player from 2005. Played for 7 years. I don't remember how to do Incarnates and all the extra goodies and I just found out about the game a few days ago. I used to be a Min/Maxer and I used to do builds all the time; however, I'm struggling with an Invuln/Elec. I can't even find a build to get me started. Does anyone have anything to help me out? I'd really appreciate the help! Thank you in advance! ❤️

Check out this backport of an Invuln/Fire from the archive.

 

With Agility Incarnate in play you'll be toddling around soft-capped to S/L/F/C damage types against a single target.

 

Against a mob you'll add in Soft-capped defense to E/N; and also be into solo-Incarnate-Soft-Cap on S/L/F/C

 

Oh, and you'll also be .5s off of perma-hasten, at ~120.5 recharge on a ~120 timer. A single pass of [Ageless Incarnate] and you'd be in perma-hasten.

 

You'd also have perma-[Dull Pain], ~97s on a 120s timer, Which with accolades in play would slam you beyond the 3534 Tanker Hit Point Hard Cap while driving ~34hp/s regeneration.

Well, since this is a backport, and not anything I ever used, I'm not sure I'm the right one to ask on attack chain. 


In terms of DPA/DPS you "generally" won't be using [Jacobs Ladder], [Thunder Strike], or [Lightning Clap] all that often, in some cases a strong "If Ever" might apply.  The slotting on those powers are generally for IO buff bonus's only. Lightning Clap is just mitigated against Knock because: A: I could mitigate it for knock without impacting the build negatively and B: for some debuff happy enemies you really need a way to buy yourself a few moments to cast a utility power or lay down some damage

 

The average single target chain would likely be [Havoc Punch] / [Chain Induction] / [Gloom] / repeat, throwing in [Charged Brawl] if you get stuck waiting on timers/animations to leverage Tanker Bruising. 

 

The average mob chain likely would be open with [Lightning Rod] :: [Chain Induction] :: [Dark Obliteration] :: single-target against boss :: [Chain Induction] :: Utility - e.g. this is where you may throw a [Thunder Strike] / [Lightning Clap] / or taunt to buy some recharge time / generate mob aggro, or perform another utility power like trigger your destiny, [Dull Pain], [Hasten], or move your [Darkest Night] anchor:: [Chain Induction] :: [Dark Obliteration] :: and by this point even on tanker level damages you PROBABLY should have dusted the mob and gone back to single target to focus on the remaining boss enemies.

Lighning clap is just a control tool that the new KB to KD enhancement has made useful for just a couple slots so I just use it as dmg mitigation and, as pointed above, to buy some recharge time.
