Quindorrian
As it stands, each time they patched the game, it has gotten harder and harder for me to get this game to run on my Mac. Last patch, I had to do the winetricks and all that and change the run directory and it would only run in safemode. After this latest patch, it won't run at all. Now, it completely freezes my system... Anyone have any idea what I can do to fix this? Thanks for any and all help.
Redlynne
Delete Island Rum and the CoH Client completely. Download a NEW fresh copy of Island Rum. Use the NEW copy of Island Rum to download and install a NEW copy of the CoH Client from scratch. If you have bindfiles or other personalized data in your installation, please copy that outside of the folders that are going to be deleted by this action so that you can "put them back" after you're done with the clean load installation. Verbogeny is one of many pleasurettes afforded a creatific thinkerizer.
Necessity Bear
Hi, Is deleting Island Rum & CoH as simple as moving them to the trash? I only ask, as i've done multiple re-installs now to no avail. I'm wondering if im even doing it right? (nb: ive followed all the advice and suggestions in the mac support thread to the best of my ability, but still drawing a blank on 64bitmode and getting hit with loading freeze when zoning in safe mode). Any advice or suggestions appreciated at this point- getting a little desperate if im being honest. Maybe a system reset to the point before i originally downloaded the gamevin May?Im using El Capitan by the way.
Retired Game Master GM Capocollo Posted September 24, 2019 Retired Game Master Share Posted September 24, 2019 If you're not planning to upgrade to Catalina, then you can keep using the 32-bit mode as normal. They're the same client built for different hardware.

It just started happening a week ago. I get the loading screen appear, but occasionally the loading bar does not fill and it just disconnects. I have to cut power and reboot. We have a 60meg fibre optic connection, so i don't think it's our internet.. Any ideas? Many Thanks
