looking for a good Dark/ Time build by lv as i play content and lv slowly ..plz

So I play solo and with pickups, I enjoy doing content and not pwrlv. can anyone do a lv by lv build for Dark/Time/?? build.  Mostly looking for wht sets to put in wht pwrs.

Sure, I can help with that. May I know a general price range? Should I only use lvl 25 or 30 IOs? Or do I get to go wild with attuned IOs and ATOs? Also, are any travel powers thematic for the character?

 

Oh! Can I choose any epic power pool or do you have something in mind? The two most powerful power pools for /time are soul and dark mastery. Soul mastery gives you power boost which you can use in conjunction with farsight to give your whole team about 22% defense to all, but it comes with a soul drain at about twice the recharge so it cannot be perma'd. Dark mastery does not give you power boost and so farsight will give around 15% defense to all which is still very good and it comes with soul drain that you can perma.

Weight in on Soul vs. Dark, I’ll go for Power Boost every day of the week. That AoE defense boost isn’t just for your team. It makes softcapping your own defenses way easier, which gives you major build flexibility.

 

As for the build itself, I can say from personal experience that Torrent is one of the best “control” powers available in a blast set. Slap a KB to KD IO into that sucker alongside a Force Feedback: + Recharge proc. It’ll keep enemies knocked over so they can’t hurt you without them flying all over them map, and it will also do wonders for your recharge rate. I highly recommend that be part of your final build. I got both IOs pre-20 by running story arcs in Praetoria, and they made an enormous difference for the survival and damage rate of my pure-ranged Dark/Energy Blaster.

so i dont have a lot of influ maybe 30 mil right now and im lv 40 at moment, but am gona work on sets as i can aford them.  will be useing yellow and orange recipes as i get them. want atuned but might be out of my price range. not worried about purple recipes or hami.  I like the idea of farsite boosting team.

 

there is an aoe att string i have been using and really like...torrent ,ten tent, dark pit ,night fall,,distortion field. with a kb to kd in torrent and all them to- hit debuffing

 

yes mystic flight is for theme so keep and fit in recall friend if possable

Ok, so I tried my best to fit this in a 30 mil budget and only use lvl 40 IOs. Pay attention to when I added the slots as I was trying to get you a fully functional build that you can buy and slot right now. I'll add another build for when you are 50 and can work towards it. At lvl 41 you should have around 32-33% defense with power boost+farsight and this is within one purple inspiration of the softcap. You should be pretty close most of the time anyway due to the debuffs from your dark powers. I find distortion field to be very endurance intensive and with hasten and chrono shift you are already firing off your damaging attacks very regularly and so endurance management is very important before 50 IO sets. Even at fifty endurance can be a problem for time due to the incredibly quick recharge of your powers and running time's juncture, maneuvers, tough, weave, dark embrace, etc. Remember to always use power boost and then farsight.

And this is something to build toward. I avoided purple sets with the exception of the superior ATOs. This has perma chronoshift with some major healing in it. With a power boosted farsight you will be sitting at 44.4% to ranged and melee attacks. With more money there are easier ways to do all of this and also easier ways to fit everything in without recall friend, but I think this is the best defenses and recharge I can do without more money or more power choices. Maybe if I stared at it for longer, but I've spent enough time on this for now.
