Just how savage is that melee?

I am looking at making a savage melee brute since I "think" the bleeds would work better with fury since I don't think they can crit.

 

How good is it? The animations look cool.

What secondary would work best for it? hopefully not SR as I think I pissed of the RNG gods in a previous life and this one too.

Savage Melee synergizes nicely with Brutes, thanks to its quick attacks.  Plus, Blood Frenzy is essentially fury for your Endurance and Recharge.

While the dots dont crit, someone testing showed that hemorrage does a whole lot more damage off hide if you're a stalker.

Since Savage has no redraw, and its secondary boosts recharge, my first thought would be "something with a lot of helpful click effects".  I bet Savage/Fire would be nice, though that's just sorta theory/numbers.

Right now I am thinking willpower, bio or regen with a slight chance of giving SR another shot.
