Deleting a Character and the Aftermath

ahoy me hearties

so; i deleted a character, yeah sure that's cool whatever. i do it all the time.

after the patch on 1/21/2020 (M/D/Y), i deleted a character on page 2, in the 10th slot. this "deleted" my character on the first page, in the 6th slot as well.

i hopped on a character and jumped back to my character selection screen, the character in question is back.

 

you can see why this could be a potential problem if, say, the character does *not* return.

the character i deleted was level 15, the character 'deleted' was level 50.

level 15 was a SS/Rad Brute

level 50 is a Dark Melee/Regen Brute

The "PlayerSlot.txt" is probably corrupt. You can try deleting the character entry from there, save, and reload the game.
