Tri-Fire AoE Blapper

I was searching through the forums and did not find what I was looking for, so I am creating this topic/thread.

I have a Tri-Fire blaster that I want to make into the tankiest AoE Blapper (and some ST for cleanup) he can be given a certain set of parameters that will be listed below.

I always play this character in groups, so no need to worry about solo survivability. 

Yes, I have read other threads showing a different Epic Pool would be more optimal, but this character is 100% fire

I'm OK with Inferno > other AoE damage > die > Rise of the Phoenix > more AoE attacks being an attack chain

 

  • Must be Fire/Fire/Fire (It's in his name)
  • Travel power is Fly or Mystic Flight (It's in his name)
  • Judgement is some form of Pyronic (again, it's in his name)
  • Not worried about dying occasionally, that's part of the fun of this character

 

Again, not look for the best build, just the best that can be done with the constraints above.

Also, I suck at building using Mids/PINES, hence why I am asking for help.

cool take a look at this most of the aoes have procs was trying to get perma hasten as well.. do not know if that happened.

Fire/Fire/Pyre went from one of the most frustrating combos pre-I24 to one of the best.  Bonfire + Sudden Acceleration is extremely good, powerful soft CC, it's so good I have to force myself not to take it on all my blasters.

 

Consume can be fitted with the Energy Manipulator proc piece which turns it into a pretty reliable PBAOE stun.  It won't stun bosses and isn't going to stun 100% of a full group of enemies but it definitely will stun most, and you can also put a Fury of the Gladiator -resist proc piece on it to make for a very good opener for your nuke.

It's a toss-up between rain of fire or fire breath, but if you hover blast end game fire breath is not a bad pick. I could have gotten another ranged def set bonus in fly but opted for the winter IO because slows suck and this build has a decent amount of slow resist. You should be pretty sturdy with this build, just don't go toe to toe with Romans or anything with swords.

 

If you really want to keep a decent distance from mobs but still be able to use the aoes from /fire then you can replace burn with combustion, the latter has a big aoe radius and you can hover safely above and use it and still tag mobs down below, you'll have to hover a little closer for FSC.

The build doesn't outright softcap anything with barrier however E/N/M/R are 40% or higher... with a purple inspiration all of them can be taken to softcap. S/L defense is 35% with barrier.
This build has 70% S/L resistance with barrier PERMANENTLY. 

It possess decent enough recharge for hasten to be up a decent portion of the time.

Runs Cardiac core for DPS boost and endurance.

Use consume for damage and the endurance when it is low.

Has AOE galore: Consume, Burn, FSC, Inferno, Rain of Fire, Fireball, and BOTH auras.

Great ST chain as well, Flares is occasionally used as a filler.
