Keitrin Posted May 3, 2020 Posted May 3, 2020 Last night I played and everything was normal. Today I log in and there's no sound at all. AFAIK I didn't change anything, and my audio settings are unchanged. I ran the re-validate in the tequila launcher and it says everything is fine. Sound works in other programs, it's only CoH that's affected. I tried rebooting. I'm running on a laptop with Windows 7 Pro 64-bit.
Retired Game Master GM Tock Posted May 3, 2020 Retired Game Master Posted May 3, 2020 Check the Volume Mixer in Windows 7 while City of Heroes Client is running. Is the program volume turned down? Also check in-game Options, Sound Playback Mode: try switching from Performance to Compatibility and see if that makes a difference.
Keitrin Posted May 3, 2020 Author Posted May 3, 2020 It was the volume mixer, thank you! It got muted somehow. 2
TraumaTrain Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 One time, I had to go on a service call to find out why this guy's computer had no sound. The power button on his speakers was off.

Hyperstrike Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 FvXMalstrom, Are you getting sound anywhere else besides the game? If you want to be godlike, pick anything. If you want to be GOD, pick a TANK!
