Best way to slot Bio Armor?

Running a Psi/Bio, and I figure to start with, take all the IOs that give +def to all and +res to all, then maybe drop in the other couple of +psi res IOs.  But due to the way it's set up, I guess when it comes to set bonuses, try to find a mix between +res and +def?

Things to consider...


S/L defence is good to have. Softcap defence if you can 32-33% or 45%.


Resists are always good to have.


Some slow resists would be good as Bio has a lot of clicky lifesaver powers. You can break a winter set and get 3x15% slow resist for example. 50%+ would be good.


Recharge is also good as it will reduce your heal and attack cooldowns etc.

I softcapped mine to all types but Psi and he plays like an SR until defense debuffs start coming in. With significantly more damage output. 


I'd share a Mid's build...but I don't have one. I built him completely by the seat of my pants in-game. He's solid enough I was able to skip the tier 9 absorb shield and not really miss it.

S/L Defense is normally the biggest stumbling block. You can get +15% between the split ATO and Blistering Cold. Beyond that, it gets tough to cobble together because S/L Defense and recharge bonuses don't normally come in the same sets. Kinetic Combat is a popular one, but it tends to underpower the melee attack it's slotted into.

best is very subjective but ill share what i run on mine not sure how it will work with psi as i really dont know much about that set but you can scrounge some ideas if you like em
