Hello

 

So I made a Electric storm controller and as you know slotting can be very difficult. I am trying to figure out what to put into storm. Should I go with procs, sets, hamios. Any help would be great

This is how I have my Grav/Storm slotted:

Gale:  1 acc IO

O2 Boost:  Preventative Medicine +absorb

Snow Storm:  1 endred IO

Steamy Mist:  Steadfast +def, Gladiator +def, Shield Wall +res and def/end

Freezing Rain:  Shield Breaker acc/rech, -def/end/rech, acc/end/rech (this power really doesn't need acc - if you aren't going for set bonuses, 2 rech IOs is all you need)

Hurricane:  Dark Watcher's Despair -tohit, -tohit/rech, -tohit/rech/end, -tohit/end

Thunder Clap: 6x Stupefy primarily for the set bonuses (I stack this with Wormhole to stun bosses - on its own it's skippable)

Tornado:  5x Expedient Reinforcement, Sudden Accel KB>KD

Lightning Storm:  6x Apocolypse

I'm not an expert on Storm slotting.

 

Here's a potential build for Elec/Storm that takes Mu Mastery as the patron pool. This build would give you capped S/L resist, 40% Defense vs Melee and Ranged.  Power Sink replinishes your blue bar and helps sap enemies.

 

You could switch out Cross Punch for Spring Attack if you prefer, since slotting is interchangeable.

Long time since i played mine the build maybe out of date i only went for ranged defence and s/l resists but i don't remember it ever dying and it tanked all the GM's in game and a bunch of AV's, dmagae is as bad as you'd expect once you see slotting. Just used to gale a mob down, jump in drop static field hit something with jolting chain adn have a think about what i wanted to do next. The reason i skipped melee defence.....you immob everything out of melee range, anything you don't gets end drained/held/knockdown with jolting, big guys like GM's+AV's-you run hurricane and i always needed dps help anyway. I don't recall a single death on it i did get hit a few times by lusca but regenerated fast enough to survive the next hit just by sitting on it. Conductive aura is fantastic and overall i think elec is one of the most fun sets to play. Take that fun and double it with storm:
