Hi guys I’m new to homecoming and very excited that there is city of hero’s servers again! It was my favorite game , I used to farm with a war mace electric brute back in the day, I was just wondering if it would still be viable today.! Thanks so much

Perfectly viable. I've not used them together, but I have both paired with other things, and they are solid and should work well together I expect. Probably not a top tier farmer but it will do the job fine and should be fun.

why not war mace and fire armor.  then you know you can fire farm with burn and easy to cap resists and def to fire.  I love elec, but it doesnt do as much damage as fire.  so question is can you make fire armor tough enough for farms and regular content.

Yeah I would like to do both! Like a main that I can also farm with

In that case there's no harm in sticking with your original plan. If you were wanting a pure farmer I'd have suggested going sometting different like claws/fire or Rad/fire or the old favourite spines/fire. Personally I find claws/fire the most fun out of those.

PS if you are new make sure to check out the P2W vendor in atlas/mercy. You can get free powers (like ninja run and nemesis staff) plus 5 enhancements from them to help out at low levels (and beyond). And check out the guides and markets sections on the forum to give you an idea about how to make inf to make things easier for you.

Have fun!

------------

90% Resist, 45.5%, 245% haste with incarnate.  Has 1 extra slotted to each Sprint/Swift/Hurdle/Health/Lighting Reflexes because I couldn't think of something else.  Its Soul  Mastery, 2 powers to unlock an AoE, otherwise drop the Powersink and grab Pyre mastery, 3 powers to reslot to get that defense/resist to its cap. So basically extra 5 slots and 3 powers + another 14 on top of that if you change the epic; but be careful because the build is very tight otherwise.

There is a downside to Electric, it doesn't have a heal like Fire....its a Heal + Regen + endurance discount, so if you are taking damage you got to wait for 30 seconds the heal to come back.  Doesn't work to well on a Rad/Electric scrapper for farming for regen as back up healing, can do +4 but between the damage with 75% cap and lack of taunt for the aura it didn't work to well.  Can still reconvert that rad/electric to PvE, but thats another project.
