Lockpick Posted October 9, 2020 Share Posted October 9, 2020 Has anyone tried using Unrelenting with Unleashed Potential in a build? Any thoughts on how it plays? I was looking at a new build with StJ/SD. I have played StJ/SR and StJ/Inv to 50. As I was doing the StJ/SD build it was looking similar to my other builds and I decided to change it up and see if Unrelenting w/ Unleashed Potential could provide some new dynamics. This guy would be similar to Batman with a shield, so the Presence pool is a conceptual fit. have a crash despite what the tool tip says. I usually franken slot it lotg 7.5%, lotg def/rch+5 and either 2 end mod pieces boosted to +5 (premptive optimization for the bonus max end) for the bonus recovery. It's really good for end heavy set ups pre-incarnate and exemping down. I used it on my khelds a lot, but used it on a plant/storm troller to make it sustainable pre-ageless. It's a really underrated power imo. With the slotting listed above, it's like a small purple inspiration with a good amount of recovery bonus for 1 min. Typically on most of my characters I'll take one of the Origin pool powers for either Rune of Protection or Unleashed Potential. I will balance them out so if they have high defenses already I'll go with Rune and vise versa. My stalkers are quite tanky with one of these powers and some Incarnate power I can cycle in right after like barrier or the melee hybrid. My Invuln stalker has Unleashed and with it runs 56+ melee and elemental (30% psi) defenses. Paired with Invulns already nice resists she's quite a tough cookie. I've taken Unrelenting for one of my tanky stalker builds when I can taunt but yeah the presence pool power picks are a whole lot of meh to get Unrelenting. At least with the Origin pools you get your travel and with Force of Will you get a sneaky nice little ST debuff which can slot the achilles.
