Hi!

You probably don't need two slots in TT:Accuracy unless you're specifically not slotting for accuracy anywhere else. I'd say the same for Mental Training.

TT:Leadership is a good place to put the extra slots - Gaussian's is a really good set to put in there. The +Build Up proc goes off at a higher rate on larger teams, because it has a chance to trigger on each teammate it affects, which means you get a passive damage and ToHit bonus from teaming.

I've never felt that VEATs need Tough and Weave; they're pretty solid out of the box and have high defence without much building, but how high is high is a matter of debate.  I beat up Giant Monsters and AV-tier mobs on my Fortunata without them.

Will you run into endurance problems running that many toggles?

Put this into an AoE attack - it procs often enough that the fear effect (which works like a short-term hold, it doesn't make them run away) is actually very useful.

@hakurr

Yes, two slots in TT:Offensive is unnecessary.

Two end red in TT:Assault is unnecessary, because TT:Assault is cheaper than Leadership assault.

Crowd Control and Shatter do not need -kb, they are knockdown only. Unless you're hitting lower level mobs.

If you are going to only melee attacks, then put Dominion into Crowd Control. And Touch of death into Pummel. You'll only lose a little melee def.

I will politely disagree with Gulbasaur. Banes do not get Widow scaling resists. I think tough is useful. Nice resists by the way.

The problem with pure melee banes are they lack good AOE. Not to say they are bad, they are decent.

If you were to add in Venom and Frag grenade, it will greatly improve your AOE and single target damage. You'll have to pay the gun-mace redraw tax sadly.

See bottom of thread for my Huntsbane build. It's not quite finished, but very close. It's a monster, but much more expensive than your build.

You can read this thread where I tried a bunch of different pure mace builds.

I'm a grumpy old sod who thinks that everyone plays it much too safe with their builds, but I accept that that's a relevant distinction.

Heh. I feel the same, and I also make the same recognition that other players feel differently.

I also take a different attitude to the Gaussian's %Build Up proc. I prefer to put it under my control in a Build Up power. If you are going to be on larger teams, especially with henchmen/pets, it is better in an aura power... but only if you are buffing the team. VEATs are intended to play this way, so as long as you always play this way, this will help you more. The Guassian's proc is essentially a "selfish" boost, in that in only works for you, so for my team I would prefer to boost the aura power itself via alternate slotting.

VEATs will run VERY hot and burn Endurance like crazy. My experience has been that VEATs are one of the AT that I have to make hard choices regarding Endurance choices, more so than other AT.
